Counsel patient on options available for those with no insurance coverage and make front end payment plan arrangements with patients, with main focus on the Woman s Health. Responsible for charge entry and collection/posting of patient payments (copays, coinsurance and deductibles), assisting patients with account balances and managing group monthly cash reconciliation. Must have 3-5 years of professional coding/billing, strong knowledge of insurance plans/ benefits, and AR/collections experience required, with excellent communication skills. Medical EHR / EMR systems experience desired. Medical Assistant MA cert., CENA, Paramedic Cert. or commensurate combination of education and experience.
