Kennedy Community Health Center (EMKCHC) is a federally qualified health center. We have been serving the greater Worcester area for 39 years, and Framingham and the greater Metrowest area for seven years. EMKCHC is seeking an experienced Accounting Manger. The qualified candidate will be responsible for the day to day financial management. Responsibilities include: supervision and preparation of general ledger reconciliations and entries, including third party accounts receivables, grants and contracts, monthly general ledger close, including preparation of monthly financial statement package, internal and external financial reporting, and accounts payable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with attention to detail and superior analytical and problem solving skills. (Reports directly to the Controller) Primary Responsibilities: Manage and direct all accounting staff (currently 5 staff) including review and supervision of purchasing, accounts payable, general accounting, cash receipts, grants and contracts and all month end close reconciliations. Generate accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP and consistent with the information needs of the Board of Directors and the Health Center s management, including financial ratios and analysis. Lead successful completion of all audits throughout the year. Establish and maintain an appropriate internal control environment to ensure the integrity of financial information and the preservation of the Health Center s assets. Preparation of cost reports (FQHC & CHC Medicaid), UFR, UDS, 990/PC and any other internal/external reports. Generate accurate and timely grant/contract billing each month, including working with department managers in regards to grants/contracts. Assist in preparation of the annual budget. Provide supervision and training for purchasing coordinators so that supplies are available when needed, of appropriate quality and at the best price. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Accounting from an accredited university. Minimum of five year experience in a similar role or in the financial/general ledger area preferable in Healthcare. Minimum three years supervisory experience preferably in healthcare. Proficiency in Excel, Work, Powerpoint, and Outlook functions.

2 Masters degree in accounting or business administration and CPA or CPA candidate preferred. Extensive experience with accounting and third party billing software and preferred experience with 340b/retail pharmacy software. (Preferred software products are: ACCPAC for general ledger; NextGen for third party billing; and QS1 for pharmacy.) Experience working in a Community Health Center or healthcare agency is highly preferred.expertise in third party reimbursement programs including thorough understanding of billing process. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills, demonstrated ability of managing multiple projects at once in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Billing Representative Department: Billing Description: EMKCHC has an opening for an experience Medical Billing Representative responsible for preparing claims in a timely and efficient manner for electronic transmission. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Analyze and review denials: Resolve denial issues and complete timely rebilling: Review and resolve open accounts from aging reports; Maximize our collection rate. Prepare self-pay statements and third party claim forms. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding knowledge required. Associates Degree or 4 years of medical third-party billing and collection experience preferred. Strong demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology. Chief Medical Officer Job Level: 29 Description: Reporting to the President & CEO, the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) will have strategic and operational oversight of the Health Center s Clinical staff including: medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy. The CMO will provide clinical leadership to the site medical directors and site managers, as well as to the VP of Dental and VP of Pharmacy for total clinical system integration. The CMO will direct all staff providers and all professional contractual providers in a manner that achieves the triple AIM of primary care health delivery: access, quality, and cost. The CMO assists the CEO and the leadership team to implement strategies that will fulfill the established mission, vision, and goals of the organization. Qualifications: Previous experience working with underserved populations highly desired. Commonwealth of MA required. CPR certified. Certification through the Drug Enforcement Agency and valid licensure in

Duties may include, but are not limited to the following: Assist medical staff with patient scheduling: Assist medical staff in managing patient flow in and out of appointments; Act as the primary person to register patients; Complete all applications for State subsidized health insurance, as needed.; Provide insurance education to individuals; Data entry; Provide customer service to patients and customers. Answer the telephone and make patient appointments. Qualifications: High School Graduate or equivalent required. Related training preferred (Medical Office Assistant, CNA, Medical Assistant, etc). Health Educator Department: Community Programs Job Status: Part Time Job Level: 6 Description: Work with EMKCHC HIV Program to implement prevention and education with the African Community. Provide health education using evidence based curriculum that addresses issues including substance abuse, HIV/AIDS and STIs. To provide community-based health education, prevention, counseling and/or testing services, and/or referral services to identified target population within the community and/or Health Center.

Associates Degree or a minimum of 2-3 years work experience within the field of public health or human services engaging in community-based health education, prevention initiatives, or chronic disease management required. Minimum 1-year work experience within the field of public health or human services engaging in community-based health education, prevention initiatives, or chronic disease management required. Phlebotomy experience preferred. Medical Assistant, Part-Time, Temp Description: To assist and collaborate with the medical providers in the delivery of medical care. Triage calls utilizing Barton Schmitt Pediatric Telephone Triage Protocols, Thompson Adult Telephone Protocols, policies and procedures of the program, practice-specific instructions and nursing judgment. Qualifications: MA Registered Nurse or MA Licensed LPN. CPR Certified. Basic computer and typing skills. Fluency in English/Spanish or English Portuguese preferred. Previous nursing experience with emphasis on community nursing, health education and/or telephone triage.
