1 My Student Account at Mater Christi College Mater Christi College utilises a system called My Student Account (MSA) to minimize the amount of cash that is brought to school. Students use their Mater Christi College Student Photo ID Card as a debit card to make purchases at Café Bene. It is also used to order and pay for photocopying, optional camps and excursions. Use of the card service provides our students with a very safe and secure introduction to online banking, account management and budgeting using today s latest virtual e-commerce products, thereby exposing Mater Christi College students to payment methods that are increasingly the norm. Purchasing by card is safer and more secure than cash. Your daughter s photo, name and the alerts you set are all displayed to staff each time the card is used. If a student loses her card, staff can confirm her identity. As each student s account details have been imported directly from the School s database, integrity is assured and data cannot be changed or compromised by anyone else either at school or by trying to hack into the account online. Setting up MSA Profile and Account Visit to be directed to the MSA website. Just below the apple image at the bottom left of the screen, click the Login button

2 Select the First time user? button Go to the bottom of the Conditions Page and read the Terms and Conditions and then click on I agree to Terms if you wish to proceed. Follow the prompts to create a profile. Your password should be at least six characters, using numbers and letters (it is case sensitive).

4 Setting up MSA Creating your MSA Account After creating a profile, login to add an account by selecting the Add/Edit Accounts option in the top left of screen. Where you are asked for Student Number enter the 6 digit number that is on the photo ID card. (Note for staff: you also need to add their 6 digit number here). You only need to add the student/staff first name, last name and date of birth. Continue to create an additional account for each family member at school

5 Setting up MSA Adding funds to your MSA Account Money can be transferred into the accounts on MSA via credit card, BPAY or via the on-site kiosk. This can be initiated by clicking on the $ icon BPAY If you don t want to use a credit card, an alternative option is to BPAY. Just click on your account number and the BPAY details will pop up showing the biller code and account number. Note: it takes up to 3 days for the money to transfer to your account if you use this option. KIOSK Students and staff can also add credit using the kiosk located at Café Bene. The machine accepts cash only and funds are available immediately. Using MSA Non-Café Items Once you have set up your account, you can then order camps, excursions, t-shirts, formals, etc. All non-café items are paid via Events & Excursions. Just click on Online Orders then select your account number. Now Create New Order. Choose Events and Excursions for all non-canteen items eg for music camp, Y12 formal, etc.

6 Select the item/s you require and click on the green arrow next to it. Click Next to finalise the order. When ready, click Submit Order. The order will not be finalised until you click on the Submit Order button. If you experience any difficulties please contact the Finance Team (ph , option 3) for assistance.
