Expanded the District Service Learning program and Civic Engagement program and was responsible for seeking, establishing and developing purposeful relationships with over 75 key community agencies and their leaders. Supervised and evaluated 1,100 Service Learning students, 200 Service Learning faculty, and 75 community partners. Directed and supported 7 Service Learning Campus Coordinators. Trained incoming Service Learning Campus Coordinators and Community Partners. Created and implemented Be the Change, a one day District wide student day of service for DCCCD students. Charged the DCCCD Day of Service Committee providing volunteer opportunities for 7,000 District employees. Updated and maintained the DCCCD Service Learning website.

2 Produced the DCCCD Community Partner Handbook to assist Service Learning Community Partners. Established Service Learning Community Fairs at 4 DCCCD campuses. Proposed and established the DFW Service Learning Intercollegiate Council Service Learning Conference sponsored by Texas Campus Compact. Established the DCCCD Service Learning Appreciation and Awards Luncheon. Developed and implemented the DCCCD Service Learning Video, used to recruit and promote Service Learning initiatives within the Dallas County Community College District. Dept. of Outreach, Recruitment and Community Engagement- Specialist Worked with the District Director of Outreach and current DCCCD students to enhance their educational experience through the Service Learning program. Established Service Learning events and activities to recruit students and agencies. Collaborated and coordinated with area Service Learning directors through the DFW Service Learning Intercollegiate Council Updated and Maintained the DCCCD Service Learning website. Developed and implemented outreach efforts specifically designed to attract and recruit potential DCCCD students. Designed and produced The Golden Diploma, a children s activity book designed to educate elementary school students about higher education. Distributed The Golden Diploma activity book to 20,000 Dallas Independent School District students. Partnered with the Department of Outreach to offer a large variety of programs in support of outreach and retention initiatives, including community wide events. Provided informational presentations for parents and students, worked closely with K-12 partners and the Dallas Independent School District to promote higher learning. Company Manager Angel Fire Mountain Theatre Angel Fire, NM Supervised and managed 20 company members during the summer theatre program. Oversaw the payroll, prepared production reports, directed and executed the children's theatre educational program. Page 2 of 6

3 Partnered with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to operate and coordinate the Angel Fire Mountain Theatre program. Graduate Research Assistant/Department Recruiter Assisted in the recruiting of potential students to the Department of Theatre and Dance. Implemented new student activities and appointed tours for potential students. Scheduled meetings, auditions and interviews with various faculty and staff members. Educational Outreach Director Angel Fire Mountain Theatre Angel Fire, NM Responsible for the organization and execution of the week-long program for seventy-five students. Increased participated in the Children s Theatre Workshop from 50 students to 75. Supervised workshop instructors and oversaw the execution of curriculum. Provided leadership and guidance for workshop instructors and assisted with training and coursework. Managed enrollment and budget reports for workshop. Directed and choreographed end of summer showcase.
