6 Contact Us Jon Ridler Executive Director Jon Ridler has served as the AHCC s executive director since He has more than 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience and serves on the boards of the Illinois Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives and is President of the Arlington Heights Crime Stoppers. Jon is also a member of the Rotary Club of Arlington Heights where he has served as a board member. Jon has lead the chamber to financial stability and implemented new membership packages providing greater value to and retention of local business members. Jon actively shares these successes and strategies to area chambers who are seeking to expand and be more relevant to their business community. Mindy Phillips Associate Director Mindy@ArlingtonHCC.com Mindy Phillips, formerly Executive Director of the Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce, joined the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce to become the Associate Director in January of Phillips' background includes six years with the American Cancer Society and ten years with the Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce. Phillips worked in various roles with ACS focusing on fundraising campaigns, event and volunteer management as well as patient services. She was recognized for the development of donor and volunteer recognition programs. Phillips' tenure with the Palatine Chamber resulted in successes such as increased membership, corporate sponsorship, and community awareness of local businesses. She was also instrumental in bringing the Young Entrepreneur Academy (YEA!) to the Palatine Community. Jim Platt Business Development Director Jim@ArlingtonHCC.com In his role as business development director for the AHCC, Jim leads the organization s member recruitment and retention efforts. Jim also draws on his past experience as a teacher, business owner and business consultant to help members create and project business identities that resonate with clients and prospects. Jim is an advisory board member for Robert Morris University and Village Bank & Trust as well as Foundation board member for NSSEO, Northwest Suburban Special Education Organization. Previously, Jim served as CEO of Sylvia s Flowers in Arlington Heights for more than 25 years and as a junior high school teacher. 5
7 Kristin Brown Marketing & Communications Manager Kristin Brown served as an intern with the chamber in 2012 after graduating from Harper Community College. After completing her degree in business management at North Park University, Kristin found herself again with the chamber in her new role as a full-time staff member. Kristin handles the development, promotion and execution of all chamber programs along with communications to members and consumers. In addition, she develops and initiates marketing campaigns for chamber community events and highlights the value of the chamber to consumers and businesses. Sandra Tutkute Connection Manager Sandra@ArlingtonHCC.com Sandra serves as the chamber s part-time Connection Manager. Her role is to expand the reach of the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce to new members. As a former chamber member with 15+ years of experience in the hospitality industry, sales and event planning in Chicagoland and the Northwest Suburbs, Sandra brings the chamber s message to more businesses by connecting them to the largest business organization in Arlington Heights. 6
