2 At CBH, benefits come in many forms. You work hard for us, so we want to offer ways of making your life that little bit easier by providing you some benefits, services and resources designed to make your time at CBH an enjoyable and rewarding experience. Further information is available on our Connect intranet pages for current CBH employees. Your HR Advisors or Manager will also be able to provide you all the information you need. Financial Reward We offer a variety of financial benefits for you to choose from. We understand that everyone s personal circumstances are different and recommend that you discuss any of the options available with a financial advisor to make sure they are suitable for you. Financial Services: Work offer an exclusive package of financial benefits to CBH employees which includes fee-free banking and special offers on personal loans and mortgage products Credit Union Australia - A personal banker can regularly come to your workplace and help you with banking, home, car and personal loans, investments and savings, as well as other special offers
3 Superannuation: CBH has its own competitive corporate superannuation fund, which we support by contributing to the management costs of the fund, this means lower costs for you if you choose to become a member. Internal assisstance is available for all members of the fund for any superannuation enquiries. The CBH super fund was ranked number one in 2011 and number three in 2012 for five year fund level rates of return by the Australian Prudential Regulatory Authority (APRA). Salary Sacrificing: Eligible employees can designate additional salary amounts to their elected superannuation fund. Salary Packaging is a way to reduce your tax liability and increase your take home pay. You can take advantage of legal tax benefits through our packaging partners and pay for goods and services with your pre-tax income. Through EPAC, you can package personal expenses to pay your mortgage or rent, or have funds paid to a debit visa card that can be used to purchase goods and services anywhere debit Visa is accepted. Novated leases incorporate lease and vehicle running costs (fuel, maintenance) and allow you to access discounts on vehicle purchase price through NLC's network of car dealerships around Australia. 4 Retirement support: Employees aged 55 years and over are entitled to payment of 50 percent of their accrued unused sick leave on retirement. We can also provide access to financial planning and other resources to assist you in preparing for your retirement. Employee Referral Program: We are always looking for great additions to the team and find the best way to do that is through referrals from our current employees. Generous payments are provided for successful referrals upon completion of 6 months of employment. Travel Club gives you exclusive access to amazing travel benefits for your own private leisure holidays, including support for planning your trip, tailored booking service and price matching guarantees. Various forms of insurance discounts and provisions are on offer from our insurance suppliers. These include health, travel, home, personal and car insurance discounts. We are regularly approaching businesses and service providers to seek out discounts and special offers for our employees. There are many employee discounts on hotels and accommodation, retail outlets, wine, vehicles, discounted MS Office package for home use for just $15 plus much more. These discounts are updated regularly and full details are available via our intranet site Connect.
5 Work Flexibility We offer flexible work arrangements to help keep your work and life balanced. Wherever possible, we will try to accommodate personal circumstances, with a range of balanced and flexible work options to suit your lifestyle available. Volunteering begins at the top with our CEO taking part in the annual St Vinnies CEO sleep out. Opportunities for you to contribute to the local community exist through our numerous charity donation drives, blood donation drives and sponsorship of local sporting events and teams. Additional leave for volunteering activities is available upon approval. The Social Club is another way to get involved, with monthly and weekly activities scheduled into the busy social calendar. 7 Your wellbeing Our commitment to providing a safe workplace and looking out for your wellbeing includes a continued focus on maintaining a strong safety culture, with health and safety initiatives being implemented across the business. One of these is a Health & Wellness Program, facilitated by Worksite Fitness and Rehabilitation, with the following, and much more on offer. Worksite Fitness and Rehabilitation offer annual health and fitness challenges & encourage everyone to participate! Available for one on one health and fitness consultations Regular exercise classes are available at West Perth and Forrestfield. Keep a look out for what s happening next! 8 Employee Assistance Program (EAP): A free and confidential counselling service available to all CBH employees and their immediate family members through an accredited external service provider. Get support with work, personal and family matters. Paraplegic Benefit Fund (PBF): All permanent employees are automatically provided membership to PBF, which can also be extended to immediate family members for a discounted fee. This service provides a payout of $100,000 in the event of a spinal cord injury, to use for any purpose; wage continuance, medical bills, etc. In partnership with Expect a Star, we have established the CBH Family Program. We understand that balancing the needs of family can sometimes be challenging. To support you in this area we have two dedicated websites one for parents and the other for employees caring for older relatives. Both sites provide support and resources to help such as child care and nanny services, support groups, government assistance available, care providers and activities for children and the elderly. 10 Achievement & Development Review (ADR) is the specially developed and individually tailored performance appraisal system used by CBH to align our values and behaviours, set individual objectives and create meaningful development plans to support career progression. Your manager will work with you to develop your ADR and give regular feedback on your progress as well as provide support to assist you in achieving your career goals. This is all facilitated by a dedicated, in-house Organisational Development team, helping to continually develop our workforce with a range of additional personal development opportunities and pathways: Online training programmes Coaching and mentoring for personal development In-house learning library Management training courses including AIM, SAP, CPA, ARLP, INSEAD and HARVARD 360 degree feedback assessments Training matrices for structured career path planning Trade specific and soft skills training Demeter Circle hosts a series of events and learning opportunities designed to promote women as leaders, both in CBH and the broader community. The initiative aims to recognise the unique skills women bring to the leadership table, and assist managers in the promotion and development of women.
11 Recognition The CBH Recognition Progam: Harvesting Excellence, promotes a culture of recognising and celebrating our achievements. This recognition ranges from saying thanks a bunch and showing appreciation, through to awards of up to $750. CEO Award Designed to recognise excellence in One CBH values and safety. Winners, along with a partner or friend are invited to lunch with our CEO to receive the award. Up to $750 towards a holiday or RedBalloon experience Values Champions Awarded to employees demonstrating behaviours consistent with and promoting the One CBH values we strive to achieve Up to $500 towards a Red Balloon experience Safety Stars Recognises the outstanding demonstration of safety as aligned to our values Up to $500 towards a Red Balloon experience Manager Ad hoc Recognition Outside of the formal process, managers can recognise efforts with their choice of rewards; including dinner, shopping vouchers, or Red Balloon vouchers and many more. Recognition nominations can be individual or team based, and also peer or manager nominated. The program is powered by RedBalloon, giving you the opportunity to earn gift certificates for your choice of RedBalloon experiences.
