1 Polygon & Property Damage Restoration Response, Reliability and Results.
2 Industry Challenges There is nothing simple about suffering a property damage loss, whether from wind, fire or water. When a commercial structure incurs a loss, the results are multi-fold. This can include human safety issues, insurance claims and construction delays, all of which can can lead to business interruption. Property damage affects the entire business cycle, and getting it back to pre-loss condition quickly is the top priority. The faster a business can get up and running after a loss, the better chance it has for staying in business. The property damage restoration industry has evolved over the past several decades. For many years the standard protocol was to tear out all damaged materials and get down to the framework of the building in order to facilitate fast drying. Fortunately these methods are a thing of the past. New technology and equipment give building owners better, less expensive and faster options to get their properties back in operation. The Polygon Solution Polygon was the first restoration contractor to bring new technology to the market and revolutionize the way contractors dry a building. By using powerful desiccant equipment, a building can be dried completely without removing contents and building materials. This method saves costs on both ends of the restoration process. The demolition of damaged materials, such as drywall and insulation, can often be eliminated entirely. When the structure is completely dry, there is no need for costly, and time-consuming reconstruction. The benefits to the property owner, much like the challenges, are multi-fold. Reduced stress, cost and business interruption, all of which will ensure the future success of an affected business.

4 Mold Remediation Microbial agents prosper when moisture exists, even for a short period of time. Polygon is an important ally in the healthful restoration of a building where indoor air quality is of concern. Polygon s fleet of drying, filtering and decontaminating equipment allows for engineering the right solution in the most critical circumstances. Document Recovery Services Polygon saves millions of damaged documents every year. Polygon s Document Recovery personnel undergo extensive training on the most advance techniques available. With four strategically located document recovery centers in the United States, Polygon expedites the processing of documents and other media within a secure environment to ensure quick completion and return of materials. Code Blue : Your Preparedness Plan Preparing your facility in advance of an emergency can be the determining factor in a successful recovery. At its core, Code Blue delivers a faster response to an incident, and therefore allows you to quickly stabilize critical operations. This is achieved by identifying your facility s key areas before damage occurs, so if damaged occurs, Polygon s emergency response teams can immediately begin work. Benefits of Utilizing Polygon 24/7 Emergency Response World s largest fleet of drying and climate control equipment Unrivaled technical engineering backed by 30 years of experience 26 company-owned offices throughout North America Energy efficient equipment reducing equipment operating cost by up to 40% Contact Polygon to start your disaster plan today
5 Polygon in Action When New York Bay surged during Super Storm Sandy, flood water was sent racing down the city streets into the lobby of a lower Manhattan high-rise, submerging the 15 subterranean basement where the building s systems were housed. Polygon s Emergency Response teams arrived on-site and immediately began triage and emergency response efforts. Polygon worked around the clock to restore the building so occupants were able to return to work. When a floor of garments caught fire inside one of the stores of a national retail clothing chain, Polygon was called to respond. Though the water damage resulting from the sprinkler system was minimal, the smoke odor and soot from the fire traveled through HVAC duct lines and into the remaining areas of this two-story building. With charcoal-filtered air scrubbing units placed throughout the space, Polygon restored portions of the damaged structure, hand-wiped all vertical surfaces and vacuumed all horizontal surfaces with HEPA filtration. After a final cleaning of all surfaces with a degreasing agent for any remaining contaminants, the store was able to be re-opened with minimal business disruption. When a large commercial office facility s permanent HVAC system malfunctioned, Polygon was asked to provide relief to the building occupants suffering a hot, humid summer month. Utilizing the building s existing cooling system and permanent ductwork, Polygon supplied a 100 ton, air-cooled chiller to control the environment. Polygon was able to prevent potential business interruption and decreased levels of productivity by consistently maintaining a comfortable 75 F while the building cooling systems were replaced.
