Lift Front panl up to an angl, kping it attachd until it maks a clicking sound (Rfr Figur - 2). Do not lift front panl at an angl abov 60 dgrs. Do not apply too much forc. 15 6. Unit will not xit tran mod if usr changs any of th following: swing button, multi room or night latch button. 7. Th indication of tran mod is button with rd back light and th rmaining buttons with light OFF. Th back light will go off aftr 20 sconds from last opration of rmot controllr Cool Mod COOL DRY 1... 18 3. Maintnanc 3.1. Claning air filtr Cloggd air filtr dcrass cooling fficincy. Clan filtr at intrval of two wks. Disconnct powr supply bfor claning indoor unit. 2 1 Support pol Lift Front panl up to an angl, kping it attachd until it maks a clicking sound. Clan units with soft, dry or moist cloth with watr or clansr. Us support pol to hold th front panl at its plac aftr lifting it. Hold th air filtr handl and lift slightly to rlas it from holdr, pull downwards to rmov air filtr from indoor unit. 3 Filtr Handl Clan air filtr with a vacuum clanr or watr, dry in cool plac. Air frshning filtr 4 Rmov air frshning filtrs from its supporting fram. Clan air frshning filtr monthly, and rplac at an intrval of 4-5 months. Install air frshning filtr into its original position. 5 Insrt uppr part of air filtr and plac filtr into position, mak sur lft and right dgs align corrctly

19 3.2. Maintnanc (Unit not in us for long duration) If you do not plan to us unit for a long tim, prform following actions: Clan indoor unit and filtrs. Oprat fan for approximatly 30 minuts in ordr to dry innr sid of unit. Switch OFF th unit. Th outdoor unit rquirs priodic maintnanc and claning. Th usr must not do priodic maintnanc of product on thir own. Contact dalr or srvic providr Chcks bfor opration Mak sur wiring is not brokn or disconnctd. Mak sur air filtr and front panl ar installd. Mak sur air outlt or inlt is not blockd. If air filtr scrn is blockd by dust or dirt, th prformanc of th unit will b affctd, with highr opration nois and powr consumption. Air filtr scrn should b cland rgularly. Prparation bfor sason of us 1. B sur that nothing obstructs air outlt and intak vnts. (Rfr Figur - 19) 2. Examin whthr ground (arth) wir is corrctly connctd. 3. Rplac filtrs if ncssary. 4. Rplac battris of rmot if ncssary. 5. Examin mounting brackt of outdoor unit, if damagd contact srvicing agncy. 20 4. Troublshooting Bfor rqusting srvic, prform following chcks. Symptom Rmdy Waiting Indoor unit dos not giv cool air immdiatly whn unit starts. Comprssor rstarts aftr approximatly thr minuts to protct itslf. On comprssor rstarting units starts to giv cool air again Unusual odor blowing from outlt whn unit is startd. Opn th door or window for 2 minuts and run th AC in Fan mod to allow frsh air insid th room. This hlps to rmov odors from th room. Sound of watr flow during opration. This is causd by rfrigrant flowing insid th unit. Formation of mist whil cooling. Room air is coold quickly by cold air flow which looks lik fog. Craking nois during start or stop. Dformation of plastic bcaus of tmpratur chang. Unit dos not oprat. Dcrasd cooling fficincy. Rmot control dos not work corrctly. Chck lctrical systm connctions, cords and fuss. Chck if powr supply is within 10% of ratd supply. Chck st tmpratur. Chck for obstructions in air inlt and outlt. Chck air filtrs for dirt. Chck indoor fan spd. Chck any othr opnings in th room. Chck ffctiv distanc to indoor unit. Chck low battry rror indication on rmot display. If th troubl has not bn corrctd, plas contact a local dalr or th narst customr srvic cntr.
