2 LSI Family Curse Descriptin The LSI Family Curse is designed fr parents and children wh wish t cmbine a family hliday with their English studies. While adults and lder teenagers (ages 16+) fllw the curse f their chice at LSI Brightn, yunger children (ages 5-11) can attend the Brightn Summer Camp, and lder children (ages 11-15) can attend the Dlphin Language Prgramme. Brightn Summer Camp (BISS) fr ages 5-10 years Established in 1984, Brightn Summer Camp specialises in English language and activity curses fr yung pupils aged 5 t 12. It ffers the chance t study English and learn abut British culture in a safe, caring envirnment, at a small friendly family run schl that places a high emphasis n persnal service. Lessns take place at Drthy Stringer High Schl, a lcal British schl which ffers facilities fr learning, sprts, arts and ther cultural activities. Drthy Stringer High Schl values its partnership with Brightn Summer Camp, and welcmes internatinal students int their cmmunity believing such visits are f cultural and educatinal benefit t its wn British students, as well as t their verseas guests. 3 LSI Family Curse English Lessns Brightn Summer Camp tests each student n arrival in rder t place them in the best class fr their age and level f English (frm beginner t advanced). Each class is taught in the mrnings by a qualified teacher, trained at an English university and experienced in teaching English t freign students. Classes have a maximum f 15 pupils, and English tuitin is prvided fr 15 hurs per week. The emphasis during lessns is n speaking and discussin skills. We aim t build up students' cnfidence and ability t use English thrugh the enjyable, 'real life' situatins that we devise. Each student is graded and awarded a curse certificate n cmpletin f their curse. Junir students are als very welcme t accmpany their parents n weekend excursins. 4 LSI Family Curse Junir Prgramme (Ages 5-10) Curse Dates/ Hurs Our junir students are given many unique pprtunities t mix with English children f the same age. Junir students are given free membership f the lcal hliday club, fr children aged 5-11, als run by us. In this atmsphere, visiting children can learn English quickly and naturally. They can jin with the lcal children after their frmal lessns t enjy sprts, art and ther fun activities and put their language skills t practical use. Junir students are fully supervised thrughut their schl day ( ) by qualified and experienced teachers. A ht lunch is included in the price. Additinal ptinal services include ne t ne English tuitin and the ptin t pre-bk supervised transprt frm yur accmmdatin t ur schl and back. Students can cmbine prfessinally taught General English lessns with a fun and varied activities prgramme, including ftball practice at the stadium and excursins t famus lcal sites. Dlphin Language Centre aims fr a fully immersive English experience, where fun and learning are cmbined int an unfrgettable cultural experience. During the curse, students will als have the pprtunity t participate in wrkshps with English children. The wrkshps are based n cmmunicative tasks encuraging grup wrk and team building. The tasks will include phtgraphy, media, enterprise, sprts, design business and cmmunicatin games. The wrkshps will last fr ne and a half hur and are a great way fr students t make new friends and practice their English with natives.

5 LSI Family Curse General English Lessns The English Language curse is taught by teachers with degrees and teaching qualificatins. Our teachers are cmmitted t the students educatinal achievement and will ffer additinal hme study materials at the parent r student s request. A varied range f methds and materials (including audi-visual equipment) are used t supplement curse bks in the lessns. We perate an English-nly plicy inside the classrms and students are encuraged t speak English at all times during their stay with us. The lessns are specifically designed t keep the attentin f yung adults, while being taught in a friendly and interactive envirnment. English and Ftball This is a unique curse designed by ftball fanatical English teachers fr ftball fanatical students. It equips the students with the idimatic ftball English language spken by the tp players. Tpics include: anatmy, fitness, the business language f ftball (cntracts, negtiating, salaries), the culture and histry f the beautiful game including players, clubs and cmpetitins. 7 Accmmdatin Optins Junir students attending the Brightn Summer Camp r the Dlphin Language Centre will reside in hmestays/accmmdatin with their parents and/r lder family members wh will be attending LSI Brightn while the yunger students attend Brightn Summer Camp. LSI Brightn ffers the fllwing accmmdatin ptins fr families: hmestay (nly pssible with 1 parent), htel/b&b and apartments. Larger families (3+ peple) can nly stay in either a htel r an apartment. All accmmdatin is subject t availability at the time f bking.
