2 13 Congress of e Brazilian Society of Laboratory Animal Science - SBCAL The SBCAL is a biennial event at began in 1988 in e city of Salvador (Bahia), which brings togeer researchers and practitioners in heal, in its various aspects, to discuss e state of e art and prospects for animal experimentation in Brazil. In 2014 e event will celebrate 26 years, reaching its 13 edition. This year's eme is Integration, Law and Knowledge, a subject at is extremely relevant at is time when e country is arguing about regulating e use of animals in teaching activity and research. The event will discuss strategies in research and development at support public policies in e area as well as in advancing basic knowledge.
