In January 2014 the CPUC apprved a Decisin t adpt a tw year Bridge Fund beginning January 1, 2015, and running thrugh December 31, Incentives $18.6m $4.2m is designated fr the SONGS Mitigatin Target Area N changes Up t $300/kW 60/40 incentive structure fr Custmized prjects Mandatry 36 cnsecutive mnths f enrllment n a qualifying DR prgram Letter f Agreement n incentives $200,000 per S/A Cntrls must be certified OpenADR 2.0A (B cntinues t be tested) Must submit Applicatin, Third Party prject prpsal, Cntrls system diagram Must Have a minimum f 4 summer mnths f interval data Effective May 1, 2015 Warranty Technlgy must remain under a Manufacturer s warranty fr a minimum f 3 years. 7 Incentive Applicatin Submissins Applicatins are submitted thrugh SCE s Online Applicatin Tl (OAT). This is the same tl that is being used fr SCE s Cre Energy Efficiency prgrams. This was part f a larger initiative t imprve ADR peratinal efficiencies T assist with this change, Aut-DR cnducted a vendr based training webinar. The July 2014 training was recrded t assist thse wh were unable t attend, and serve as a reference fr thse wh did. 8 SCE Target Areas = New Opprtunities Preferred Resurces Pilt (PRP) The PRP fcuses n 40 zip cdes n a transmissin cnstrained area f SCE s service territry served by the Jhanna and Santiag substatins in Central Orange Cunty. The PRP fcuses n acquiring and integrating the use f preferred resurces in a way that demnstrates their ability t meet lcal energy needs within a defined area. This apprach frges a new path and may result in key findings that will infrm public plicy decisins, the future dependability f preferred resurces, and the design f the grid f the future. Preferred resurces EE, DR, Renewables and Energy Strage SONGS Mitigatin Target Area 202 zip cdes (designated by A-Bank). SONGS prjects will be priritized thrughut the entire Aut-DR prcess.

If an additinal M&V retest(s) is necessary, the cst t cnduct the additinal M&V retest(s) will be deducted frm the custmer's eligible incentive.

13 IDSM Prjects (Integrated EE and Aut-DR) Qualifying SCE business custmers receiving Express r Custmized Energy Efficiency incentives may als be eligible fr Aut-DR Technlgy Incentives fr the installatin f a qualifying building energy management system (EMS, BAS, etc.). Aut-DR cntrls must allw fr building scheduling and be: OpenADR 2.0 certified by the OpenADR Alliance ( Installed at a custmer wned facility r n a custmer wned server in SCE service territry Aut-DR can ffer additinal incentives fr the fllwing - after energy efficiency incentives and the assciated lad reductin (kw/kwh) has been verified and apprved fr payment. Fr example: Energy management system and prgramming, EMS upgrades Cmmunicatins that help scheduling (wired / wireless) Itemized labr fr the cntrls prtin f the installatin (see Aut-DR Invice Checklist) Cntrls ver facility fans, central plant, etc. that result in EE savings Variable frequency drives n pumps r HVAC Aut-DR des nt ffer incentives n strage (air, water, etc.), lighting (lamps, dimming ballasts withut tuning, trffers, sensrs), air cmpressrs, clud cntrls, recurring csts, etc. Aut-DR incentives cannt exceed mre than 100% f the actual and reasnable prject cst after energy efficiency incentives have been verified, apprved and paid, including the Cmprehensive Bnus. Prjects will be reviewed and apprved n a case by case basis Prjects must adhere t each prgrams applicatin guidelines and requirements

14 Energy Efficiency Cmprehensive Bnus Any single applicatin (fr a single facility r campus) which includes at least three f the fllwing qualificatins may be eligible fr the Cmprehensive Bnus. 15 Cmprehensive Bnus EMS Example A large ffice building applies fr a cmprehensive prject by installing an OpenADR 2.0 (certified) EMS t cntrl existing chiller(s), which includes: 1. New EMS (cntrls) t allw fr building scheduling which saves 100,000 kwh 2. Optimize sequencing f existing chillers fr (Retrcmmissining/RCx) which saves an additinal 150,000 kwh and reduces 20 kw annually 3. Participates in a qualifying DR prgram thrugh the Aut-DR Technlgy Incentive prgram with a 4 F Space Temperature Reset which reduces 100 kw Scheduling: 100,000 x $0.08/kWh = $8, Sequencing: 150,000 x $0.08/kWh + 20 x $100.00/kW = $14, EE Subttal = $22, % Cmprehensive Bnus = $ 4, *Aut-DR: 100 x $300.00/kW = $30, Ttal Incentive = $56, *Aut-DR Technlgy Incentives are a separate enabling technlgy incentive and are nt paid in cnjunctin with Energy Efficiency.
