Instructions for Connecting to PACS outside of a Regional Facility For support, please contact the ehealth Saskatchewan Helpdesk at 1-888-316-7446 Recommended options provide optimal performance

The following instructions are required to connect to PACS Remotely, the first time on a per machine basis. NOTE: If during the setup you receive a black screen, click the Refresh button on the Internet Explorer tool bar. Click on Tools and Internet Options: Click on the Security tab and select Trusted Sites:

For Trusted Sites, a security setting of Medium or lower is required Under the Security Level for this Zone, please ensure your security setting is set to Medium or lower. If you need to change this setting, you may use your mouse to drag the slide bar to the required setting and click the Apply button. If your Security Level for this Zone is currently set to Custom, please select the Default Level. You may now change your setting to Medium or lower. In the middle of the window, click on Sites : 3

On the Trusted Sites pop-up menu, please add the following websites to your list of trusted sites: *.ehealthsask.ca vpn.ehealthsask.ca *.health.gov.sk.ca Ensure the require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone option is unchecked. In the Add this Web site to the zone field, type *.ehealthsask.ca Press the Add button In the Add this Web site to the zone field, type vpn.ehealth sask.ca Press the Add button In the Add this Web site to the zone field, type *.Health.gov.sk.ca Press the Add button Your trusted sites window should include the above sites in the list. You may also have additional sites already identified as Trusted Sites. Select the close and you will be returned to the Internet Options window. 4

Select the Privacy tab from the Internet Options window: Pop-ups are required for PACS. In the lower portion of the screen, examine your Pop-up Blocker setting. If Turn on Pop-Up Blocker check box is not checked off it is letting all pop-ups through and nothing further is required. Click on the OK to be returned to the Internet Options window. If it is checked proceed to the next step. A Check mark in the Pop-up Blocker checkbox (shown above), indicates that pop-ups will be blocked. If you have a checkmark in the Pop-up Blocker check box, select the Settings pushbutton. From the Pop-up Blocker Settings window, you need to enable pop-ups coming in from the *.ehealthsask.ca and *.health.gov.sk.ca websites. 5

In the Address of website to allow field, type *.ehealthsask.ca Press the Add button. This will move the *.ehealthsask.ca under the Allowed sites field. Press the Close button, when you are complete. Note: Your computer may have other sites listed from which you allow pop-ups. You will be returned to the Internet Options window. Press OK to continue. Click Tools and select Compatibility View Settings Place a check mark beside Display all websites in Compatibility View then click Close. Restart Internet Explorer. 6

CONNECTING TO ehealth S VPN SITE & PACS SYSTEM If at any point during the following installation or connection steps, you get a message saying that ActiveX must be installed, or if confirmation is requested to proceed with the installation of a component or to grant access your computer, confirm by clicking the affirmative response (i.e. Accept, Run, etc.) These are a couple of examples The user must connect to ehealth s VPN site before attempting to access PACS. Connecting to VPN Site If you have never connected to PACS through the SSL VPN, continue with step 1 below. If you have connected to PACS through the new SSL VPN before, skip to the section called Logging on after VPN and PACS Install 7

1. There are two methods you can use to connect to the VPN site: a. From Internet Explorer: Type https://vpn.ehealthsask.ca b. From your IE Favorites: If you have added ehealth Secure Remote Access to your IE Favorites, you can access the VPN by opening an Internet Explorer session and clicking on the link to the VPN in your Favorites. If you would like to know how to add the site to your Favorites, please refer to the Shortcuts section at the end of this guide. This can be done at any time. 2. If you get a certificate error, just click Continue to this website (not recommended) 3. If you get a security banner asking for your Trusted site list, click Yes 4. On your very first try to access the VPN site, it will ask you to Install Cisco Systems, Inc. Click Install. This is installing the secure desktop. Users will only be prompted to install secure desktop the first time they connect to the new SSL VPN 8

5. CISCO Cache Cleaner will appear after a few seconds 6. If a bar appears at the top of the Internet Explorer that wants you to confirm you trust the website and want to install the add-on, click to accept 7. If there is no key stroke detected, Click Do not show this dialog. and click Proceed 8. There may be services running on the work- station that Secure Desktop suspects are keystroke loggers. A window similar to the one below will be presented. Ensure the services are legitimate be- fore selecting the check boxes. In order to proceed, the check boxes must be selected or the services must be removed. Contact the EHEALTH Service Desk for assistance if you don t recognize the services listed as suspicious modules 9

9. In the event this message comes up, click Run 10. In the event this message comes up, click Download. Mind the time countdown 11. Type in the user ID provided by ehealth or the health region, along with your password. example: USER NAME = health\lastnamefirstname 12. Click Yes if you get this banner. You can also verify the certificate to ensure secure connections 10

13. The certificate must be for ehealthsask 14. Connection set up will resume 15. This window will show once the connection is established. An icon with a lock on it will also appear on your icon tray 16. Once connected to the VPN, you may proceed to log in to PACS. In the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client window click CONNECT 11

It may reside in the Show Hidden Icons tab of your system tray. If you move the mouse over the icon it will pop up the name and status of the service, connected. 12

Connecting to PACS You can now open your Internet Explorer and connect to PACS isite, http://pacs.health.gov.sk.ca If you receive a Security Alert window indicating you are about to view pages over a secure connection, please select OK to continue. Type in your Regional Username in the User Name field. Type in your Regional Password in the Password field. For the Log on to field select the region that provided you access to the PACS To Close out of PACS Click the X in the top right hand corner of the screen. To close your Remote Access, right-click on the Lock icon located in your system tray and select Quit. If you do not log off of Remote Access, the Lock icon will continue to appear in your system tray. The next time you log on, the system will display an error message indicating that you are already logged on. You now have successfully exited out of PACS and PACS Remote Access. Creating a shortcut on your desktop to access PACS Right click on a blank space on your desktop Select New>Shortcut Type http://pacs.health.gov.sk.ca in the field titled type the location of the item, then click next. Type a name for the shortcut, like PACS - it will appear as the label for this shortcut on your desktop. Click Finish you will now have a shortcut on your desktop to the PACS System. *Note that this process does not work for creating a shortcut to the ehealth VPN site use the first method above, to add a link to the site to your IE favourites. 13
