1 Connect to Bloomfield Hills Schools VPN - Open Internet Explorer. - Type into the address bar. - Click Continue to this website (not recommended). if prompted. - If this is your first time using the VPN, check the Always trust content from this publisher. checkbox for the vpn.bloomfield.org Warning Security window and click Yes. This window should not appear after the first time. - If this is your first time using the VPN, check the Always trust content from this publisher. checkbox for the idjavasun Warning Security window and click Run. 2 - If this is your first time using the VPN, click the yellow Internet Explorer Information Bar and select Install This Add-on for All Users on This Computer. This window should not appear after the first time. - If you get a screen that says Cache Cleaner is already running., then restart Internet Explorer and start again. Page 2 of 10

3 - Enter your Bloomfield Hills username and password. Click Login. - Click AnyConnect from the left-hand menu and then click Start AnyConnect in the center of the screen. Page 3 of 10

4 - If this is your first time using the VPN, click Install for the Internet Explorer Security Warning window. This window should not appear after the first time. - Click Yes for the Security Alert window. - After the installation you should see a Connection Established screen in the center. - You can verify you are connected by looking for the Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client icon in your task tray in the lower-right corner. 5 Connect to a Bloomfield Hills Schools virtual machine - Open Internet Explorer. - Type into the address bar. - Click Continue to this website (not recommended). if prompted. - Select the View Client (XX MB) radio button. Click Download. Page 5 of 10

6 - Click the yellow Internet Explorer Information Bar and select Download File. - Click Run for the File Download Security Warning window. - Click Run for the File Download Security Warning window. - Click Next. Page 6 of 10

7 - Click Next. - Select the I accept the terms in the license agreement radio button. Click Next. - Click Next. Page 7 of 10

8 - Enter viewconnect.bloomfield.org in the Default View Connection Server: field. Click Next. - Click Next. - Unselect any option you do not want. Click Next. Page 8 of 10

9 - Click Finish. - You should be able to click No and proceed. If you have any issues, please restart your computer. - Minimize or close all open windows and double-click the VMware View Client on the desktop. - Click Connect. - Enter your Bloomfield Hills username and password. 10 - Select Windows 7 Pool 1 and click the small triangle to the right. - Select Display Protocol. - Select Microsoft RDP (default). - Click Connect. The virtual machine will load in full screen mode with a control bar at the top of the screen to minimize, exit fullscreen and quit the virtual machine. You now have access to your files on the network and can use Microsoft Office 2007 and Open Office located in the Start menu. Disconnect from Bloomfield Hills Schools VPN - Right-click the Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client icon in your task tray in the lower-right corner and select Disconnect. Page 10 of 10
