Offshore Northern Seas 2012 ONS is one of the world s leading meeting places for the global energy industry. For almost 40 years ONS has been a broad-based international energy event, and a unique meeting place for everyone involved in the entire energy sector. Since its launch, the biennial event has been staged in Stavanger, Norway. The very first ONS exhibition in 1974 welcomed just 7 000 visitors. When ONS opened its doors for the 20th time this August, 59 913 guests joined us in Stavanger. Theme for ONS 2012 - Confronting energy paradoxes The ONS concept: The ONS EXHIBITION attracts more than 1350 exhibitors and close to 50 000 visitors from all over the world. The ONS CONFERENCE has gained a reputation as one of the world s most important international oil, gas and energy forum. The ONS FESTIVAL offers three nights of wonderful culinary experiences, music and entertainment.
