Become an expert on our product, enabling you to make confident and reputable recommendations direct to prospects With a hunter mentality, source and engage with key decision makers within enterprise level brands throughout Australia and New Zealand, primarily from cold leads, via telephone, email and client visits Take ownership of the full sales process within your pipeline, clinching the sale with a consultative approach Network and engage with the ecommerce, affiliate marketing and digital industries, maximising all suitable opportunities to promote our business and increase client value Collaborate with international SaleCycle support teams to ensure a seamless experience for your clients Essentially you will... Come from a successful, target-driven sales management background, with an established network of potential opportunities to explore Be fearless in selling a niche B2B product consultatively to savvy senior executives Have a good awareness of the ecommerce, SaaS and digital industries Have the organisational skills to balance numerous priorities and the motivation to drive the success of your Sales Team Also be a committed team player, able to integrate easily into our close-knit environment We value our team. Business Development Manager Role Description Purpose Develop and grow the Australia/New Zealand territory through business development, contributing to the international growth of the business. Belongs within: Reports to: Sales Team APJ Senior Vice President, ANZ Direct Reports: 0 Responsibilities Proactively source and capitalise on enterprise sales leads across Australia and New Zealand, building a strong and effective pipeline through a nurturing approach (across phone, email, online product demonstrations and face-to-face). Negotiate and close new business to the commercial benefit of SaleCycle s growth and reputation and market share. Become an expert in SaleCycle s product and capability, confidently responding to any questions and challenges from prospects. Utilise every opportunity to increase brand awareness in a professional and respectful manner, keeping vital relations warm so can then be developed in future. Maintain detailed CRM records, contracts and various other administrative systems so that accurate documentation is kept on everyone that touches SaleCycle. Provide support to the other areas within the business, when required, to maintain business performance and an environment of collaboration and teamwork. Requirements: Demonstrable evidence of successful sales attainment within a target driven, B2B environment. Exposure to working in a start-up territory / business. A solid and up to date understanding of ecommerce. Experience of working with major online brands and the challenges this can bring. Knowledge of the digital industry, with preferred experience or awareness of Software as a Service and of the affiliate network environment.
Person Specification: Able to easily build new C-Level relations in a professional environment and collaborate with a diverse range of people. Holds excellent and confident interpersonal and presentation skills whilst portraying a strong professional image. Has strong, but subtle, influencing skills with the ability to negotiate effectively. Able to calmly and comfortably balance multiple high priority prospects and responsibilities.
