During the workshop, participants will be invited to contribute to three bilateral experimental innovation teams that will be working on a SENAI Challenge to develop a solution for a technological problem in the field of renewable energies and new materials. The agenda includes scientific and technical oral presentations to exchange high level scientific knowledge on technological innovations. The areas of interest this time include; renewable energies and new materials, business collaborations between Brazilian and Finnish enterprises and round-table talks. The team will win 2 Exchange Fellowships from Brazil to Finland and 2 Exchange Fellowships from Finland to Brazil in order to continuing jointly collaborating on research and learning, as well as experience a different country innovation environment The team will also win a short-term fellowship for internships at the SIBRATEC SHOP 6 pm Networking cocktail OBJECTIVES The workshop aims at combining renewable energy research (solar, combustion, hydrogen) with material science (materials for renewable energy) in order to share up-todate knowledge. It will focus on sharing methods, research approaches and recommendations concerned with technological innovations in the field of renewable energies and new materials. The presentations should take into consideration and address the following issues: 1-6 as presented before. Round-table talks are expected to result in minutes containing a draft list of recommendations for designing SISMOI The project will deliver a final report that will summarize the main issues discussed during the workshop, as well as strength international cooperation through the SENAI Challenge Prize consisting of fellowships granted by CNPq to Finland to continue the development of research and learning in the field. It is expected that companies also create collaborative relationships to foster the development of joint technological innovation projects, commercial relationships and business in general. INSTRUCTION FOR ORAL PRESENTATION, ROUND-TABLE TALKS AND SENAI CHALLENGE Each oral presentation should last 15 minutes. After presentations there will be 15 minutes for open discussion with public. The slides should be written in English. Simultaneous translation (English-Portuguese) will be available and speakers will be given the possibility of opting between these two languages. 5
