6 Decision All presentations held during the meeting can be downloaded on and will be available on the project website by the end of February. Wednesday, January 22 nd Presentation of the (relevant) study programs of the project partners UBg University of Belgrade UBgand Faculty of technology and metallurgy were presented by Đorđe Janaćković. Relevant study programs Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology, Materials Engineering. 2. Perceived challenges and lessons learned within the internationalization of the IMAT program The presentation was held by Dr. Michael Knaus from IfaS. Different possibilities about joint master programs were presented, and some will be discussed in detail in the following meetings. There are three possibilities for joint programs (joint degree, dual degree, with or without study semester and thesis in Germany). The future joint master course, as an outcome of this project, can be divided in two parts: the first part, two semesters of lectures would be organized at universities in Serbia, and one additional semester of lectures at IfaS in Germany. Joint master thesis semester will be organized together by universities from Serbia and IfaS.Concerning the degree, it was proposed that it would be a dual degree, one from the Serbian partner, and one from the German partner. The master program will be conducted at University of Novi Sad and University of Niš, and LLL program at all three Serbian universities; The Joint program seems to be interesting to University of Belgrade, so they will take into consideration their potential involvement in joint master program. The joint master program should be harmonized with the existing IfaS program. 3. Discussion The consortium discussed about the structure of the master program. It was agreed that Serbian partners consult the Commission for Accreditation at national level about the program structure and obligations for its accreditation with regards to joint and dual degree programs. 4. Presentation of the results of the former TEMPUS project and lessons learned Prof. Dr. Zoltan Zavargo presented the results from the previous TEMPUS project Creation of University-Enterprise Cooperation Networks for Education on Sustainable Technologies, which was realized from 2010 till The outcomes, results and conclusions from this project will be important and valuable for the newproject.it is very important that all activities should be done according to the work plan and on time. Extra activities are welcomed, but they need to be discussed with EACEA. Reports should be done during the meeting and put on the project web site immediately after the meetings. All published documents should have English language revision. The volume of written material should be appropriate and realistic. Meeting decisions 5
7 should also be realistic. All published documents should have their own attractive visual identity, as well as the project web site. The new draft version project web site was presented, and it will be completed until February 15 th The project web site will be user-friendly and more attractive than the website of the previous TEMPUS project. 5.
