Following is a list of the arts and science summer camps receiving grant funding this year through the Summer Arts & Science Camps for Kids (SAS-C) grant program. The SAS-C funded camps that offer inclusion programs for children and youth with disabilities are highlighted in yellow, indicating if the program is specifically designed for children and youth with disabilities, or if the program offers an inclusion setting. All organizations that receive funding through the Summer Arts & Science Camps for Kids grant program are required to attend a workshop on including children with disabilities in their programs. The Summer Arts & Science Camps for Kids (SAS-C) Grants Program was created as a joint initiative of the and The Children s Trust. The SAS-C Grants Program is funded by The Children s Trust. The Trust is a dedicated source of revenue established by voter referendum to improve the lives of children and families in Miami-Dade County. The 2013 Summer Program will run from June 10- August 2 (8 weeks). TAYB strives to mainstream children with disabilities into their programs. The summer programs are not all day camps. 4 Outreach sites: no fees except a one-time $10 commitment fee. Youth will learn about Marine Biology, snorkeling, and experience fun with their friends in our rich aquatic environment. Space is limited to the first 60 youth.
