KEY ROLES Specific Roles 1. To project lead a range of high-profile enterprise events and challenges to engage staff, students and the business community (e.g. Entrepreneurship Week, Global Enterprise Challenge, The Big Pitch) 2. To design and deliver enterprise and employability nonaccredited student workshops across various College locations 3. To support teaching staff to embed practical entrepreneurial learning experiences into the curriculum and provide training and guidance as required 4. To promote the value of entrepreneurship, employability and enrichment to staff and students through innovative, cost-effective and appropriate promotional campaigns (online and offline) whilst complying with CAVC and Welsh Government branding guidelines 5. To revamp the College virtual learning environment (i.e. Moodle) to become a rich resource of entrepreneurship and employability opportunities. This will also include a dedicated staff area including best practice guides and teaching resources 6. To explore and improve the use of social media and mobile technology as a communication tool for enterprise, employability and enrichment events. 7. To assist in the management of Enterprise Co-ordinators and Work Related Education Co-ordinators. 8. To be responsible for generating relevant departmental content (e.g. case studies) for various platforms including the College website and staff newsletter 9. To work effectively with other cross-college departments (e.g. Student Experience) to ensure synergy and develop any opportunities for collaboration 10. To explore operational links with local businesses and networks with a view to increasing business engagement in the learner experience (curricular and extra-curricular) Page 2 of 6
11. To build relationships with enterprise and employability support providers to map the range of support available and continue to maintain up-to-date information on each provider. 12. To establish robust student evaluation methods and processes to measure quality and impact of enterprise and employability activities to fit with existing College procedures 13. To provide data and reports to relating to enterprise and employability activity to Line Manager to comply with College and Welsh Government requirements GENERIC ROLES 1. To represent the College with external agencies as required in the performance of duties or as directed by your Line Manager. 2.
