PERFORMANCE TEST REPORT Rendered to: ARCHITECTURAL METAL SOLUTIONS, INC. P.O. Box 396 Enumclaw, WA 98022 Report No: 97123.02-901-44 Test Date: 05/17/10 Report Date: 09/21/10 Project Summary: Architectural Testing, Inc. was contracted by Architectural Metal Solutions, Inc. to perform testing on their AMS Armor-Lock Standing Seam Metal Roof Panel System. The test specimen was tested for air, water, and structural performance in accordance with the referenced test standards. This report includes comprehensive written and photographic documentation of testing performed. Test Buck Description: The test buck was constructed of 2 x 8 fir, and 24 gauge 2" galvanized steel channel was fastened to the interior of the test buck at the head and sill with #8 x 1" Tek screws 16" on center. A 24 gauge 2" galvanized steel angle was fastened to the interior of the test buck at the jambs with #8 x 1" Tek screws 16" on center. One 2 x 6 fir purlin was utilized, spaced at 2'-6". Test Specimen Description: Series/Model: AMS Armor-Lock Product Type: Standing Seam Metal Roof Panel System Overall Size: 65" wide by 60" high Test Specimen Construction: AMS Armor-Lock 24 gauge panels are produced with hot-melt rubber based sealant in the side laps. Additionally, the panel ends and sides are set on the galvanized framing members in butyl sealant. Panel vertical ribs have sealant applied at each end. Panel clips are one piece 22 gauge galvanized steel and attach to the top of the concealed vertical leg of the panel. Clips are secured to the 2 x 6 fir purlin at 2'-6" on center with one #10 x 1" pancake head Tek screw. Each panel is secured to the test buck with #10 x 1-1/2" screws at all four corners of each panel.
