HOW TO: ACCESS MYSTANWELL.COM USING WINDOWS WITH MOZILLA FIREFOX What is mystanwell.com? The remote access web site called mystanwell.com allows staff to access Stanwell applications via the Internet using their Stanwell username, password and SecurID token. If you have not been allocated a SecurID token, you can still use mystanwell.com to access your email and the Emergency & Communication website with your Stanwell username and password. These instructions will allow you to configure your computer to install necessary software to access mystanwell.com. Minimum Requirements Operating System Windows 2000 Professional SP4 Windows XP Home SP2 Windows XP Professional SP2 Web Browser Mozilla Firefox 1.0.4 You will need to have administrative rights to install any components when accessing mystanwell.com for the first time. You will require access to the Internet (preferably broadband). Dial-up access to the Internet will work though the initial connection will require the downloading of some software components that will take some time. Need Assistance? Setting up Firefox The following steps need to be followed to ensure that the software will install correctly before you are able to log onto mystanwell.com. 1. Open Firefox. 2. Enter the URL about:config. 3. Scroll down to plugin.default_plugin_disabled. 4. Double click plugin.default_plugin_disabled to change the value to false. 5. Close Firefox. 6. Now connect to mystanwell.com by opening Firefox and enter https://www.mystanwell.com 7. You may see the following pop up box. If so, click OK. Page: 2 of 9
8. The mystanwell.com webpage will appear with the following pop up dialogue box requesting you to install the Citrix Endpoint Analysis Client. 9. Click on Get the Plug-in. 10. Click Edit options. 11. Enter in web site Address: https://www.mystanwell.com and Click Allow. 12. Click Close. Page: 3 of 9
13. Click on the puzzle piece to install the Endpoint Analysis software. 14. The following pop up box will ask you to perform a software installation. Click Install Now. 15. The following pop up box will ask you for permission to run the endpoint scan. If you click always it will only briefly appear next time you connect to mystanwell.com without needing you to click OK. Install Citrix Client software Note: You will require administrative rights. 1. Open your browser. 2. Connect to http://www.mystanwell.com 3. Navigate to Need the latest citrix client? 4. Select Windows. 5. 6. Select Save. Page: 6 of 9
7. 8. Wait while the client downloads. Then select Open 9. Click OK on the security warning 10. Accept all defaults and the program will install 11. Close down firefox and restart it. Page: 7 of 9
Log into mystanwell.com to access Applications 1. If you do not have a SecurID token, you will only be able to access the Emergency & Communication website and Outlook Web Access. Follow the instructions below titled Log into mystanwell.com to access the Staff Emergency website and Outlook Web Access below. 2. If you do have a SecurID token, you will be able to log in to mystanwell.com and access Applications. 3. User Name: Enter in your Stanwell account username Password: Enter in your Stanwell account password Passcode: Enter in your PIN and token number Click Login 4. You will now be presented with a list of application that you have been authorised to use. 5. Double click on the application(s) that you wish to use. Page: 8 of 9
Log into mystanwell.com to access the Emergency & Communication website or Outlook Web Access 1. Click on here for Outlook Web Access. 2. The webpage will change and you will be prompted for only your username and password. 3.
