General Information Visa For all foreigners to visit China, visa is necessary. Invitation letters will be issued at request. Climate May 15-18 falls within the mid spring, one of the best time spans in Beijing, with a temperature of 15-25 C. Conference Venue China Grand Hotel is among the top five star hotels in Beijing, one of the venues for APEC Conference in 2014. Currency The present exchange rate between RMB and USD is about 6.4:1 Credit cards All major credit cards (VISA, MASTER and AMEX) are accepted in luxury hotels in Beijing, but may not be accepted at supermarkets. Directions The conference hotel is located at No.1 Jianguomenwai Avenue in CBD area of Beijing, 6.5 km from Tiananmen Square, the center of Beijing and easily going to anywhere downtown by subways or taxis. 26 km from Beijing Capital International Airport, the conference hotel can easily be reached by airport bus, taxi or subway. Excursions In the afternoon of May 17, a tour to MU TIAN YU, a very nice part of the Great Wall will be organized.
