ENGLISH CLASSES Students receive 16 hours of English class per week taught by highly qualified ESL teachers, including practice on speaking, listening, grammar, writing, and reading skills. There is a special focus on conversational English, and speaking is heavily incorporated into the curriculum. Classes are held in the morning and early afternoon. Students are tested and divided into groups of no more than 12 students based on English level. Students take a placement test upon arrival to camp to ensure they receive a challenging and engaging learning experience. Additionally, students are asked to speak English throughout the entire program, including during meals and excursions to enhance the classroom lessons. LEADERSHIP TRAINING Students at the Greenheart English Camp receive leadership training through lessons focusing on self-development, presentation skills, worldview development, and peaceful debates. At the Greenheart English Camp we believe that in order to become a global leader you must understand more about the world and its challenges. Our leadership training is supplemented by volunteer opportunities presented to students during which they will learn the importance of environmentalism, sustainability, and supporting local communities. GLOBAL LEADERS What in the world is a global leader? A global leader is a student who represents a global perspective. Global leaders are confident in expressing their opinions while engaging in open, peaceful dialogues with peers from around the world. Global leaders also strive to represent our planet Earth through environmentally friendly and sustainable practices.

Testimonials I learned to depend on myself and how to control my time; I am learning how to communicate well. This is the 1st time I am making friends from different nationalities. Brian, Taiwan The knowledge that my great teacher taught us was very helpful and it is also very interesting. In the class we learn about vocabulary, some grammar, and the tips to how to write a paragraph. The really fun things that I do in this camp is team activities. The activities that we do can help you to make our friendship more and more stronger. Simon, Germany Rebecca, Switzerland/ Italy Shahad, UAE I learned something about the making of sentences in English but some thing too about the life in America and their culture. I can t say just one thing because everything was great but the bowling was one of the greatest things. CCI greenheart means to me fun and helping other people that need help. I think that I will use this experience and what I learned in the future. Because in this camp I learn many words and common sayings. These things are really useful for the future. In this experience I came alone so I think that after this I m more sure of me and this is great. I learned lots of speaking skills and lots of new words. I think this trip helped me speak fluent English. All of the activities were very fun. I enjoyed all the time. CCI Greenheart helps me improve my English level and makes me happy and not alone."
