We have a number of children who are missing out on Friday s golden mile. RAMBLE DAY for CHILDREN IN NEED On Friday 18 November will be taking part in a ramble to raise money for Children in Need. KS2 pupils will be going to the Beacon and KS1 to the park. Class 2B will leave at 10.00am, class staff + 4 parents Years 5 & 6 will leave at 10.30am, staff + 3 parents Year 4 will leave at 11.00am, class staff + 2 parents Class 1 & 2A will walk to the park at 1.30pm with staff and 3 parents. Children should wear suitable walking boots and clothing, they must all have a coat. When they return they will be treated to hot chocolate and biscuits. We would like each child to make a small donation of 50p to the Children in Need charity. In order for the ramble to happen we will need parent helpers. So, if you fancy a gentle walk on Friday please call at the school office. Thank you. AFTER SCHOOL CLUB Would parents please note that on Thursday 8 December and Tuesday 13 December there will be NO afterschool club due to our Christmas activities. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. ERNIE & THE SEA OF ICE - Wed 7 December Please can you ensure that all pupils arrive at school by 8.30am for registration. The coach will leave at 8.45am to arrive in Exeter for a 10.00am show. It is estimated that the show will be on for approximately 70 minutes so we should return to school by lunchtime. Thank you for your help in this matter. LONG HAIR Could you please send your child to school with their hair tied up if they have shoulder or longer length hair. This applies to both boys and girls. SAMARITANS PURSE SHOE BOX APPEAL We would like to thank all the parents and children who made a donation towards this year s collection. A total of 53 boxes have been sent from the village.
