Intrductin Avigiln Cntrl Center 5 System Integratin with Sftware Huse C Cure 9000 The Avigiln Cntrl Center 5.0 system integratin with the Sftware Huse C Cure sftware allws users t use the C Cure interface t access Avigiln Cntrl Center 5.0 features. Specifically, users can view live and recrded vide, and cntrl PTZ devices frm the Avigiln Cntrl Center thrugh the C Cure sftware. The specificatins belw are intended fr an HD NVR Server with nly remte viewing: OS CPU System RAM Recmmended Requirements Windws XP SP2, Windws XP SP2 x64, Windws Vista 32-bit r 64-bit, Windws Server 2003 SP2, Windws Server 2008, r Windws 7. Vide card Netwrk card Hard drives Recmmended Requirements n/a 1 Gbps Intel Pr/1000 r Bradcm NetXtreme II Server Adapters SATA-II 7200 RPM Enterprise Class Hard Drives Client Requirements The fllwing table lists the minimum requirements fr a Client that uses the integratin fr viewing vide: Minimum Requirements Mnitr reslutin 1280 x 1024 OS Windws XP with Service Pack (SP) 2 r later, Windws Vista, r Windws 7 (32-bit r 64-bit) CPU Intel Single Cre 2.4 GHz prcessr System RAM 1 GB Vide card PCI Express, DirectX 9.0c cmpliant with 128 MB RAM (Intel GMA 900 r better, NVIDIA 6600 r better, ATI X1300 r better) Netwrk card 100 Mbps Hard disk space 500 MB Upgrading frm Avigiln Cntrl Center 4 If yu are upgrading t Avigiln Cntrl Center 5 and the latest versin f the Avigiln C Cure integratin sftware, there are a few steps that need t be perfrmed befre yu can use the integratin again. 1. The Avigiln Cntrl Center uses a new default prt number (38880) fr server cmmunicatin. After yu install the Avigiln Cntrl Center 5 sftware, yu must update the prt number used by either the Avigiln Cntrl Center sftware r the C Cure sftware. T change the default prt number fr the Avigiln Cntrl Center sftware, change the server netwrk settings in the Avigiln Cntrl Center Admin Tl. Fr mre infrmatin, see the Avigiln Cntrl Center Sftware User Guide. T change the prt number used by the C Cure sftware t cmmunicate with the Avigiln Cntrl Center sftware, first disable the Avigiln Vide Server cnnectin then update the cmmunicatin prt number. a. In the C Cure Administratin Wrkstatin, select the Vide tab and pen the Vide Server Editr windw fr the Avigiln server. 2
b. Clear the Enabled check bx then click Save and Clse. c. Open Vide Server Editr windw again, then update the Cmmunicatin Prt number. d. Select the Enabled check bx then click Save and Clse. 2. After the integratin upgrade has been installed, manually remve the previus versin frm Windws thrugh the Prgrams and Features windw. 3. Avigiln Cntrl Center 5 features the ability t cmbine multiple servers int a Site, and allw settings t be shared between all servers in a Site. T use this feature, cmbine the servers in yur system int a Site befre yu update the integratin settings. Once the servers are cmbined int a site, yu nly need t initiate camera imprt frm ne server t imprt all cameras in the Site. Fr mre infrmatin abut cmbining servers int Sites, see the Avigiln Cntrl Center Client User Guide. Fr Mre Infrmatin Fr mre detailed infrmatin abut the prcedures utlined in this guide, refer t the specific sftware dcumentatin. Avigiln Cntrl Center Client User Guide Avigiln Cntrl Center Server User Guide C Cure Help C Cure Server Management Applicatin User Guide C Cure Licensing User Guide Installatin All C Cure services and cmpnents must be turned ff befre the integratin can be installed. The Avigiln-C Cure integratin sftware (AvigilnCCURE2.20Integratin.exe) must be installed n either a server r client that is cnnected t yur C Cure system. NOTE: Integratin upgrades can be installed n any machine that was previusly running the integratin. 3
Servers Install the fllwing n any server in yur netwrk. Client C Cure server sftware Avigiln Cntrl Center 5.0 Server sftware One Avigiln Cntrl Center Server in the Site must have the integratin license. Install the C Cure client sftware n any wrkstatin that requires access t the C Cure system. Checking the License in Avigiln After yu have installed all the required sftware, check that the Avigiln Third Party Integratin license was prperly applied. 1. Open the Avigiln Cntrl Center Admin Tl. 2. Select the Settings tab and click Licensing. The License Activatin dialg bx appears. The dialg bx must say Integratin Cnnectins: Yes r the sftware was nt prperly licensed. Checking the License in C Cure 1. In the C Cure Administratin Statin r the C Cure Mnitring Statin, select Help > Abut. 2. In the Abut C Cure dialg bx, select the License tab. 3. In the Optins list, check that Avigiln Cntrl Center is listed. 4
Enabling the Integratin in C Cure After yu check the licenses, yu must enable the integratin in the C Cure sftware. 1. Open the C Cure Server Cnfiguratin Applicatin. 2. Select the Services tab. 3. If the CrssFire Service and Server Cmpnent Framewrk are nt running, click Start Service. 4. In the Extensin Services list, find the Avigiln Vide Driver Service then select the Enabled check bx and click Start Service. The service status shuld change t Running. 5
Avigiln Cnfiguratin Once the required licence and sftware have been installed, cnfigure the Avigiln Cntrl Center fr the integratin. See the Avigiln Cntrl Center Client User Guide fr mre infrmatin abut each f the required cnfiguratins. Assigning Lgical IDs t Cameras In the Avigiln Cntrl Center Client sftware, assign a lgical ID t each camera. The C Cure sftware will nly detect cameras with a lgical ID. By default, cameras d nt have a lgical ID. 1. In the Avigiln Cntrl Center Client sftware, right-click a camera in the System Explrer and select Setup. 2. In the camera Setup tab, click General. 3. In the General dialg bx, enter a Lgical ID fr the camera. The lgical ID must be unique number. The lgical ID shuld have n mre than nine digits. Adding an Integratin User in Avigiln T prtect the security f the Avigiln Cntrl Center Server, add a user t the Avigiln sftware specifically fr cnnecting t the integratin. See the Avigiln Cntrl Center Client User Guide fr details abut hw t add users. 6

C Cure Cnfiguratin After the Avigiln Cntrl Center cnfiguratins are cmplete, cnfigure C Cure t use the integratin. See the C Cure Help fr mre infrmatin abut each f the cnfiguratins. Adding Avigiln Servers and Cameras 1. Open the C Cure Administratin Wrkstatin. 7
2. Select the Vide tab. 3. In the Vide Tree pane, right-click Cmpany Name and select Avigiln Vide Server > New. 4. In the Vide Server Editr, give the server a name and descriptin. 5. Enter the username and passwrd yu created fr the integratin. See Adding an Integratin User in Avigiln n page 6 fr mre infrmatin. 6. Enter the IP address fr the Avigiln Cntrl Center Server with the integratin license. If the integratin sftware was installed n the same server as the Administratin Wrkstatin sftware, enter the lcalhst IP address instead (typically 127.0.0.1). 7. Select the Enable check bx then click Cnnect. 8. Click the Imprt Cameras buttn when it becmes enabled. NOTE: Only cameras that have lgical IDs are imprted int the C Cure system. See Assigning Lgical IDs t Cameras n page 6 fr mre infrmatin. 9. Click Save and Clse. The new server and all cameras cnnected t the Site are added t the Vide Tree pane. 8
Adding Server Alarms Yu can create a server alarm that is triggered by the Avigiln server s nline r ffline status. 1. Open the C Cure Administratin Wrkstatin. 2. In the Vide Tree pane, right-click the Avigiln server and select Edit. 3. In the Vide Server Editr, select the Alarms tab then click Add. 4. In the Prperty clumn, select Vide Server Alarm. 5. In the Values clumn, select what triggers the alarm when the server becmes Offline r Online. 6. In the Actin clumn, select hw yu want C Cure t respnd t the alarm. 7. If yu selected Vide Camera Actin, select the Actin Type tab and select the server and camera that will perfrm the actin. 8. In the Schedule clumn, select when the alarm can be triggered. 9. Click Save and Clse. Adding Camera Alarms Yu can add a camera alarm that is triggered by a camera event, like mtin detectin. 9
1. In the C Cure Administratin Wrkstatin, right-click a camera in the Vide Tree pane and select Edit. 2. In the Vide Camera Editr, select the Alarms tab then click Add. 3. In the Prperty clumn, select Vide Camera Alarm. If yu are cnfiguring an analg encder, yu can als select Videlss. 4. In the Value clumn, select what triggers the alarm. If yu selected the Vide Camera Alarm prperty, select Mtin. If yu selected the Videlss prperty, click the Value clumn setting. When the check bx appears, mark the check bx fr True r clear the check bx fr False. 5. In the Actin clumn, select hw yu want C Cure t respnd t the alarm. 6. On the bttm half f the windw, select any available ptins t further define the selected Actin setting. 7. In the Schedule clumn, select when the alarm can be triggered. 8. Click Save and Clse. 10
Using the Integratin Nw that the integratin has been installed and cnfigured, yu can use the C Cure system t mnitr vide and alarms detected by cameras cnnected t the Avigiln system. See the C Cure Help fr mre infrmatin abut using the different features in the C Cure system. Knwn Limitatins Unable t cnfigure r use Preset and Pattern 0 in triggered alarms r events. After updating the lder integratin, the ld installatin must be manually remved frm Windws Add/Remve Prgram. When a server ges ffline and nline again, there can be a delay befre it recnnects. There may be a delay when shutting dwn the integratin via the Crssfire Server Cmpnent Framewrk. Trubleshting If the fllwing trubleshting slutins d nt reslve yur issue, cntact Avigiln Technical Supprt http://avigiln.cm/supprt-and-dwnlads/ Avigiln Integratin Sftware Des Nt Install When yu try t install the AvigilnCCURE2.20Integratin.exe, an errr message appears. The integratin may cntinue t install but the installatin is unsuccessful and yu are unable t lcate any instance f the Avigiln Cntrl Center in the C Cure system. This issue typically ccurs when the user installing the integratin des nt have access t the C Cure database. T reslve this issue, uninstall the Avigiln C Cure integratin sftware, then reinstall it thrugh the user accunt that installed the C Cure server sftware. 11
Avigiln Vide Driver Server Nt Available When yu try t enable the integratin in the C Cure sftware (as described in Enabling the Integratin in C Cure n page 5) the Avigiln server cmpnent is nt listed. Check that the fllwing integratin requirements were met and the integratin was installed crrectly: Yu have an integratin license frm Avigiln and Sftware Huse. Bth the Avigiln Cntrl Center Server sftware and the C Cure Server sftware are installed n the same netwrk. When yu installed the integratin sftware, all C Cure services and cmpnents were turned ff. Yu installed the latest versin f the Avigiln C Cure integratin fund n the Avigiln website: http://avigiln.cm/supprt-and-dwnlads/fr-sftware/accintegratin-and-plug-in-dwnlads/ Camera Is Nt Imprted After yu ve added the Avigiln server and cameras t the C Cure sftware, a camera that yu require is nt listed in the Vide Tree pane. There are typically tw reasns why the camera des nt appear in the C Cure sftware: 1. The camera des nt have a lgical ID. Perfrm Assigning Lgical IDs t Cameras n page 6. 2. The camera is cnnected t an Avigiln Cntrl Center Server that has nt been added t the C Cure sftware. Yu can crrect this by perfrming ne f the fllwing: Add the Avigiln Cntrl Center Server t the C Cure sftware. See Adding Avigiln Servers and Cameras n page 7 fr mre infrmatin. Cnnect the camera t a server that has already been cnnected t the C Cure sftware. In the Avigiln Cntrl Center Client sftware, select Tls > Cnnect/ Discnnect Cameras and discnnect the camera frm its current server then cnnect it t the server that is linked t C Cure. Yu may need t imprt cameras frm the server t C Cure again see Adding Avigiln Servers and Cameras n page 7 fr mre infrmatin. 12
Vide Is Displayed But Vide Alarms Are Nt Occurring While yu mnitr vide, yu bserve a mtin event but the related alarm des nt activate. The integratin service may nt have started crrectly. Rebt the service: 1. Open the C Cure Server Cnfiguratin Applicatin. 2. Select the Services tab. 3. If the CrssFire Service and Server Cmpnent Framewrk are nt running, click Start Service. 4. In the Extensin Services list, find the Avigiln Vide Driver Service then select the Enabled check bx and click Start Service. The service status shuld change t Running. 13
