LOGOS 2009-2010 Program Information LOGOS is a Christian Education program for children in second through sixth grade, and runs Wednesday evenings from September 16, 2009 through March 17, 2010. LOGOS consists of Bible study time, worship skills, family-style dinner, recreation, mission, crafts and games. The weekly Wednesday schedule is as follows: 4:30 Chimes Choir (optional) 5:00 Bible Study/Worship Skills 6:00 Dinner 6:45-7:15 Recreation, Crafts, Mission, Games (on a rotational basis) LOGOS provides a great opportunity to practice the Christian faith and can make a difference in your child's life. The LOGOS program also helps children develop relationships with peers, with Christian adults and with the church. We welcome all children whether or not they attend our church. The success of the LOGOS program depends upon parent volunteers; all parents must commit to volunteering at some level. We especially need Bible study leaders. All Students are Invited to be a Part of an Optional Chimes Choir Our chimes choirs, the Alleluia Ringers and the Praise Ringers, will meet promptly at 4:30 and end at 5:00. Students are assigned a chimes choir at the discretion of the leaders based on experience and number of students enrolled. Participating students are asked to make a commitment to chimes. Students can commit to just the first session (Sept-Dec), just the second session (Jan-Mar), or both. Students new to chimes will have the option of joining on a trial basis for three weeks before making a commitment. During the year, the chimes choirs will have opportunities to play for the LOGOS children and parents, during worship services, and in other possible venues. Register Early Class sizes are limited LOGOS Registration will take place from May 3 to August 16, 2009 or when classes are full, whichever comes first. Class size will be limited to 15 students. Church members, regular attendees, and LOGOS Bible study teachers will be given priority in the first three weeks of registration.
