You are in a season of making decisions that will form your future and destiny. It is in this season where you must be part of that for which Christ Jesus has laid hold of you, so that you can begin to live a dream--bigger than yourself. 3 Internship Program Overview FreedomHouse Church is a rapidly growing, dynamic, relevant church with a Mission To Change our World, One Life at Time, a Vision to Create a church people want to come to with a Purpose To raise up a generation after the heart of God, who will do ALL His will. FreedomHouse is providing internship opportunities where you will receive personal development, mentorship, as well as be a KEY part to what goes on behind the scenes to impacting lives week by week at FreedomHouse Church. Our FreedomHouse Internship Program is designed to give participants ministry experience, as well as a glimpse of the life of ministry. Participants will gain valuable experience while working alongside FreedomHouse Staff Members. Internship positions are available this Summer of THE STORY FreedomHouse Church was opened on August 10, 2008, as a new church plant. Our name FreedomHouse originated from the fact that our church literally started in the home of Pastors Josiah and Marie. After much prayer, Pastor Josiah and Marie felt the call of God to begin a church, so they opened the doors of their home together with 7 people. The message was simple Nothing is Impossible for God. Sure enough, nothing was. From day one people from all walks of life began to gather. Today, through the power of the Holy Spirit, FreedomHouse Church has flourished into a thriving, Spiritfilled, life changing church, where thousands of lives have been touched. We strongly believe, although many wonderful things have taken place, OUR GREATEST DAYS ARE STILL AHEAD OF US! APPLICATION PROCESS Qualifications: 18 yrs old and above Attends Sunday and Wednesday Worship Experiences Exemplifies and lives a life in Christ Fully Supports the Vision, Mission and Purpose of FreedomHouse Church Must submit an application and go through the interview process. Must Complete a FreedomHouse Honor Code. Serve in a Ministry 3

4 A Select Group of Applicants will be chosen for the interview Process. After the interview process is complete, applicants will be notified if they have been chosen for the Internship Program. SCHEDULE SUMMER 2015: Internship will begin on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 Internship will end on Friday, August 28, 2015 All interns positions will require a time commitment of at least 25 hours per week (w/mandatory hours of 3:30p 8:30p on Wednesdays), as well as All In status for Sunday worship experiences and special events. Remaining 20 hours will be scheduled per internship position, Monday - Friday. WEEKLY ROUTINE AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN The Weekly Routine will vary depending on the Interns Ministry area and the needs of the specific intern position. The Development Plan will include personal devotionals from FreedomHouse staff, pastors and leaders. On occasion, we will have special guests. Chapel is mandatory and will take place every Wednesday at 3:30pm with a weekly bible teaching. 5 FAQ S 1. Do interns work on Sundays? o Answer: All interns will be a part of our VIP team (campus volunteer teams) and will be required to serve at our Worship Experiences on Sunday. The department supervisors will determine the role for each intern position. 2. Is the internship paid? o Answer: Yes. Interns are paid a weekly stipend of $75 to help with the costs of living. However, if someone is earning college credit through the Internship program, the guidelines set forth by the college or university in regards to compensation will be followed. 3. Can I get College Credit through this Internship? o Answer: If your college or university offers Internship opportunities, we will work directly with your counselors and/or professors to ensure you meet all the necessary requirements 4. Will I hear from someone immediately? o Answer: You will receive a confirmation upon submitting your application. Due to the number of applications received we will only be able to contact applicants we choose to interview. 5. Do I need a car? o Answer: Most likely. If you do not have a car its best to find someone with a reliable from of transportation to get you to and from the internship and to and from serving on Sunday. 5
