Mission Statement New Covenant Christian School exists to glorify God by partnering with families and churches to provide a quality education in a Christ-centered environment, and to prepare each learner for a life of following Jesus, and serving in and through the kingdom of God. Statement of Purpose New Covenant Christian School exists as an organization to assist Christian parents/guardians and the church in the training of the youth. Christian staff and faculty supplement and support the efforts of godly parents and guardians in bringing up their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Ephesians 6:4 Did you know? 2 Outstanding Academics New Covenant Christian School strives for academic excellence. Our challenging curriculum guides students to achieve their God-given potential and prepares them for a life of leadership and service to their communities and to the Lord. Art, music and technology classes are available, allowing students exposure to a range of subject areas. At New Covenant, the Christian worldview permeates all classrooms. Our dedicated Christian teachers encourage students toward spiritual maturity with an emphasis on prayer and Bible study. New Covenant recognizes that students have diverse learning styles. The school meets learning needs by making appropriate adaptations and utilizes the assistance of the Intermediate Unit Academic Support Staff. The addition of a Supplemental Support services department in opened the door for students qualifying for special education services under IDEA law to receive appropriate instruction in our nurturing Christian environment.

3 Extracurricular Activities Athletic Programs New Covenant high school students participate in PIAA sports: boys and girls basketball, boys soccer, and girls and boys volleyball. Varied athletics for middle school students are also available. Elementary soccer is offered through the Lebanon Valley Youth Soccer League. Music New Covenant has Middle and High School Band and Choir, with performances at the annual Christmas and Spring concerts. Opportunities are available for private music lessons. Elementary students participate in an annual musical. Arts Other Activities At New Covenant, students have the ability to take art classes, along with elective choices in graphic design. Each year the school puts on a spring play, with auditions open to all middle and high school students. Students are involved in Student Council, yearbook and independent study programs. Classes participate in mission trips and service events, as well as educational field trips.

Payment Options One Payment: Receive a 2% discount for full payment of the annual tuition by August 10, Monthly Payments: Make tuition payments monthly (billing period is August through July) Fees Registration Fee $300 per family. This is a one-time fee. Technology Fee. $50 per family. Paid yearly. Re-Commitment Fee $75 per family each year of re-enrollment Sports Participation Fee Applies only to students playing sports Tuition Assistance Need-based scholarships are available to families who qualify. 5 Admissions Enrollment Criteria Enrollment is open to any student without regard to race, color, nationality or ethnicity. At least one parent or guardian must be a professing Christian and a committed regular attendee of an evangelical congregation. The parents or guardians must agree to support the New Covenant Statement of Faith. Age guidelines: Prospective Kindergarten students must be five years old on or before September 1st of the school year; prospective first grade students must be six years old on or before September 1st of the school year. Placement of incoming non-kindergarten students in the proper grade will be determined on the basis of previously transferred records and/or the use of standardized testing, the student's characteristics, and classroom dynamics. There is a probationary period for all new students. Enrollment Process 1. Inquiry made via phone call, website, etc. 2. Schedule an admissions interview and tour of the school with the Director of Admissions and/or Principal. 3. Student(s) participate(s) in a visit / buddy day for grades 1-12 (when applicable). 4. Principal / CEO meets one-on-one with family (this can be done during tour). 5. Submission of completed application (see list below) A complete application must include: Family Application Student Application (one for each student seeking admission) MS/HS Student Information Form (one for each student entering grades 6-12) Statement of Faith - signed Pastor s Reference Form Registration Fee $300 per family Technology Fee $50 per family Copy of Birth Certificate Immunization Record Copy of most recent report card (for students transferring) and additional documents as applicable (IEP, 504, etc.) SMART Tuition Online Application (only if paying tuition monthly) 6. Family is notified of enrollment decision. The following forms need to be completed and returned prior to the first day of school: Physical Examination Form Private Dental Report These forms must be completed for any student moving into Pennsylvania or entering school for the first time. Students transferring from another school within our state can transfer medical records.
