The Assciate Vice-President Academic (Learning Envirnment) is expected t: Assist the Assistant Vice President - Student Services,, and ther members f the academic cmmunity t champin the rle f students within the University and t prmte a psitive learning envirnment. Wrk with the VPA (Frederictn), the Assistant Vice President Academic and ther members f the university cmmunity n academic planning effrts. Assist the Directr f the Centre fr Enhanced Teaching and Learning and the Teaching and Learning Crdinatr t prmte a culture f teaching excellence including ways t supprt, assess, recgnize and reward utstanding teaching. Assist the Academic Advising Supprt Crdinatr t prmte the imprtance f academic advising, t prvide supprt fr bth centralized and faculty and department-based academic advising initiatives, and t prvide prfessinal develpment pprtunities and resurces fr faculty/staff advisrs. Prvide leadership and wrk cllabratively with relevant stakehlders in develping and implementing a Student Success/Strategic Enrlment Management prgram fr the Frederictn campus.
