In my 11 years as an educator, I can say that this year was one of the most enjoyable from start to finish. We accomplished some amazing things in and out of the classroom. I only hope we can meet and exceed the success of this year, in the coming years. The supportive staff, parents, and community members help to provide a variety of learning opportunities for students. However, parents continue to challenge your students over the summer to read and learn a little each day. On a side note, the district will be moving to a district App for next school year, so the WT App will not be available come August. Instructions for!1

We had 525 items donated and Mrs. Keesey's class won the drive! Her class won a field trip to the Humane Society because of their efforts. On May 19th, WT students visited the new Fallen Timbers Battlefield Memorial and Sidecut Metropark to learn about the environment and the influence of local history on shaping America s history.!2

MAUMEE YOUTH CHEER TRYOUTS 2016 It is once again time for Maumee Youth Cheer tryouts. WHEN: TIME: WHERE: WHO: Wednesday Junes 1st through Friday June 3rd (must attend all 3 days ) Please arrive no later than 5:45 p.m. as we will be starting promptly at 6 p.m. and finishing up at 7 pm. Fort Miami Elementary school playground Any girl who will be going into the 4th 5th or 6th grade as of August 2016 Each girl will need to bring a parent or legal guardian, a water bottle, soft "comfy" shorts, NO JEAN SHORTS, and athletic shoes. There are two days of learning (clinics) and one day for the tryout. The girls chosen for this squad will cheer for the Maumee Youth Football players at their home games only. There will be a cost involved for participating as well as a time commitment during the summer. 2016 Toledo Rocket Youth Football Camp June 20, 21, 22 Our camp will give players a solid foundation of fundamentals, introductory skills, and confidence. We focus on teaching in a positive manner from the ground up, working to group and team concepts. Our goal is to have campers leave camp with confidence in themselves, and an excitement for the game of football. Our outstanding staff provides detailed teaching, and positive motivation. These 3 days will be a tremendous amount of fun, featuring a terrific coaching staff and a great group of youth campers! Camp is open to all youth entering grades 1-7. Campers will also receive a T-shirt.
