2 ALL TOGETHER NOW YMCA youth sports programs promote healthy kids, families and communities by placing a priority on family involvement, healthy competition, the value of participation over winning, and team building. Parents are encouraged to be more than mere spectators by contributing their time as volunteer coaches and team parents as well as being their kid s number one fan.

3 SPORTS PROGRAMS YOUTH BASKETBALL YBL (Youth Basketball League): January - March 35 Teams, 350 Participants Competitive basketball league for children ages 9 to 18. Biddy Basketball: January - March 10 teams, 100 Participants FUNdamental basketball league for children ages 6 to 8. Basketball Clinic: January - March 40 Participants FUNdamentals and skills for children ages 4 & 5. Summer YBL: June - July 8 Teams, 80 Participants Competitive basketball league for children ages 9 to 15. YOUTH BASEBALL T-Ball: March - May 6 teams, 80 Participants FUNdamental baseball league for 4 year olds. Slugger Ball: March - May 6 teams, 80 Participants FUNdamental baseball league for children ages 5 & 6. Coaches Pitch: March - May 8 teams, 100 Participants FUNdamental baseball league for children ages 7 & 8.

4 SPORTS PROGRAMS cont. CHEERLEADING CHEER CAMP: July 175 Participants FUNdamentals of cheerleading for Kindegarten through 6th. Gra-Y CHEERLEADING: September - November 8 Squads, 120 Participants Cheerleaders encourage and ignite their respective schools. 5th & 6th Grades GRA-Y FOOTBALL Gra-Y: September - November 12 teams, 225 Participants Players compete for their schools and learn the game! Play is open to 11 & 12 year olds. INDOOR SOCCER Indoor Soccer: September - October 6 Teams, 50 Participants FUNdamentals and introduction to The Beautiful Game.

5 IT S NOT JUST KID STUFF Records quickly fade, but kids who play sports hold onto the memories and benefits for a lifetime. We offer a variety of youth sports programs for boys and girls 4-18 years old. The YMCA sports philosophy is centered on participation, learning, and FUNdamentals. All sports programs are based on our YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility, and place a priority on family involvement, healthy competition, team building, fair play, improving sport skills, and creating a positive self image.
