STAYING AHEAD OF THE COMPLIANCE CURVE Compliance and Human Resources EEOC Claim Handling and Mediation Assistance: AlphaStaff Human Resource Managers work with client companies to investigate and compile information in defense of EEOC Charges of Discrimination. AlphaStaff has negotiated a discounted rate with Jackson Lewis exclusively for clients. Jackson Lewis will draft EEOC Charge Responses for AlphaStaff clients at a reduced flat fee of $2,500. AlphaStaff also designs and delivers programs such as group training and/or individual coaching responsive to issues or concerns identified in the charge response process. Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI): By partnering with employers to aggressively manage EPLI losses, we work to improve their claims experience and loss runs. Policies: AlphaStaff works with client companies to develop Employee Handbooks, which contain the necessary policies, such as anti-harassment and non-discrimination, FMLA, ADA, FLSA and many more. Additionally, AlphaStaff works with clients to design and develop custom HR policies and procedures responsive to their employee relations and business needs. Employee Surveys: AlphaStaff works with client companies to design, administer, and report employee surveys encompassing a wide ranges of topics, some of which may include pay practices, benefits, management, communications, recognition systems, customers, and many more. 4
Job Descriptions: We provide standard and customized job descriptions for client companies that include key responsibilities and qualifications. The AlphaAdvisor: The AlphaAdvisor is a monthly e-newsletter providing clients with timely, relevant and important human resource compliance updates and information from key subject matter experts within the company. The AlphaAlert: The AlphaAlert is distributed to clients on an as-needed basis and contains time-sensitive human resource compliance updates and information for client companies that cannot wait for the monthly AlphaAdvisor. Alternative Dispute Resolution: AlphaStaff may, at the client s election, develop a custom ADR program in accordance with the client company s organizational structure, employee relations philosophy and approach. Posters: AlphaStaff may enroll client companies, upon their request, in an auto-ship, federal, state and local poster compliance program for each client location. Hotline: We provide a staffed 800 hotline for client employees to report complaints and concerns such as harassment, discrimination, retaliation and whistleblowing. Leave Management: AlphaStaff works with client companies to provide FMLA leave management services, including administrating and mailing paperwork, tracking benefits payments, coordination with other client LOA policies and government regulations, consulting with clients on related Employee Relations issues, and customizing communication materials. Unemployment Claims Services: In coordination with client preferences, we will consult with clients, respond to claims, and attend hearings with regards to unemployment claims administration and defense. 5
