parent information and fundraisers 8th Grade Party and Mandatory 8th Grade Parent Meeting Spring Fair Share Fundraiser results: May 6 6:30-8:00 pm GHS While the incoming freshmen and current band students play games to get acquainted, new parents will receive important band program information. There will be pizza and beverages for all. This is a great chance to mingle, meet other band parents, ask questions, and get ready for a new season of marching band. You won't want to miss this!! 1208 Crew car wash tickets were sold, for a total benefit of $5077.80 to our band/guard program! Thank you for your participation! Band/ guard fees for the 2014-15 school year must be paid in full by May 9, 2015 Students must be current on this year's fees in order to be eligible to participate in band or guard next year. Seniors who owe band/ guard fees will not be permitted to participate in graduation ceremonies. If a senior's account has a credit that you wish to transfer to another student's band account, please let Donna know by 6/1/15. Marching uniform fittings: Saturday, June 13 2015-16 grade level Seniors & Juniors: 9:00-10:30am Sophomores: 10:30am - 12:00pm closed for lunch: 12:00-1:00pm Fittings may take about an hour. Parents, you are welcome to wait in the commons area, or drop your student off and pick him/her up when fitting is done. Students' marching portraits will be taken on this day. Photo order forms will be available in September. All students, please bring or wear: a black T-shirt with sleeves black shorts (no basketball shorts, please) black socks marching shoes (incoming freshmen will be able to borrow shoes) Freshmen A-L: Freshmen M-Z: 1:00-2:30pm 2:30-4:00pm If you are unable to attend during your scheduled fitting time, please contact Kristen Short at 317-331-6090 or kshort@wingedwheel.net Letter Jacket Fittings date TBA A representative from Sports Plus will visit the band room to fit letter jackets for students who have completed at least one year of band or guard and would like to place an order.
