Mzu Admin Updates See what s new in this release fr Mzu Admin. Features are autmatically available unless therwise specified. GENERAL ADMIN SETTINGS General Admin Settings receive the fllwing new features and updates: New U.S. Military Shipping Zne Grid Views Remember Custm Clumn Widths U.S. Military Shipping Zne Use the new U.S. Military shipping zne t easily send rders t any APO, FPO, r DPO address. Yu autmatically receive this feature fr any new tenants and sandbxes that are using a Mzu Cre 6 r later theme, but yu must manually update any lder versins f the Mzu Cre theme t receive this update. The new shipping zne impacts Shipping Znes and Shipping Addresses. SHIPPING ZONES T view the shipping zne: 1. In Mzu Admin, select Settings>Shipping>Znes. 2. Duble-click US Military t view the zne details. Click Create New Zne. 3. Enter US Military fr name and US Diplmatic and Armed Services Shipping Zne fr descriptin. 4. Enter this regular expressin fr Expressin: CuntryCde eq "US" and (StateOrPrvince eq "AA" r StateOrPrvince eq "AE" r StateOrPrvince eq "AP") SHIPPING ADDRESSES This shipping zne is built with a cmbinatin f the US cuntry cde and three new state cdes: AA: Armed Frces Americas (APO/FPO) AE: Armed Frces Eurpe (APO/FPO/DPO) AP: Armed Frces Pacific (APO/FPO/DPO) Fr these state cdes t appear in yur strefrnt in the Cuntry drp-dwn list, yu need t enable them: 1. In Mzu Admin, select Shipping>Carriers and Settings>Eligible Shipping Address Lcatins. 2. Select the AA, AE, and AP state cdes. If yu are using a Cre 6 r later theme, these address lcatins appear in yur Cuntry drp-dwn list. T add the state cdes t yur theme (prir t Cre 6), update the settings.usstates bject in yur theme.jsn file. Grid View Remembers Clum Widths When yu custmize the width f clumns in any grid, yur changes will persist the next time yu lg in. T use this feature: 1. Adjust the width f a clumn. 2. Lg ut f Mzu. 3. Lg back in and navigate t the clumn yu changed. 4. Nte that the clumn width is as yu left it. LOCATIONS Lcatins receives the fllwing update: Ability t Duplicate Lcatins Yu can nw duplicate an existing lcatin. Duplicating a lcatin makes an exact cpy f the lcatin, changing nly the name. Fr example, a duplicate f the lcatin Austin Warehuse will be named Austin Warehuse Cpy. T use this feature: 1. Open the lcatin yu wish t duplicate. 2. Select Mre > Duplicate. 3. Enter a new lcatin cde. 4. Save the new lcatin. CUSTOMERS Custmers receives the fllwing new features and updates: View shpper accunt status frm the Custmer Grid Change shpper accunt user name Change shpper accunt status Updated custmer attribute behavir Mzu cnsiders everyne wh makes a purchase a custmer and lists them in the Custmer Grid. Hwever, any custmer wh creates an accunt when checking ut als has a Mzu shpper accunt. Shpper accunts in Mzu are created in tw ways: During checkut, the shpper selects yur site s versin f Create an accunt fr easy checkut n future rders checkbx and prvides his r her infrmatin. During an ffline rder, yur representative selects the Create shpper accunt checkbx when creating a new custmer and enters the infrmatin. Yu manage shpper accunts frm the Custmers mdule. View Shpper Accunt Status In Mzu Admin, select Custmers. The Custmer Grid displays whether r nt each custmer has an assciated shpper accunt and the status f the accunt. Accunts are either: Active: Shpper can use their accunt credentials t lg in t yur site. Lcked: Shpper has fifteen failed passwrd attempts. Disabled: Shpper credentials are n lnger valid. Unlck Accunt: Fifteen failed passwrd attempts will lck a shpper s accunt, preventing him r her frm lgging in t yur site. Select Unlck Accunt and Save t re-pen an accunt. Changes are immediate, and a shpper may then re-enter their existing lg in credentials. Disable Accunt: Yu may need t disable a shpper accunt t prtect yur business frm fraudulent activity, r a custmer may ask yu t disable an accunt. Select Disable Accunt and Save t immediately prevent a custmer frm using their lg in infrmatin n yur site. Yu can re-enable the accunt by unchecking Disable Accunt. Reset Passwrd: Click the Reset Passwrd buttn t send an email t the shpper prmpting him r her t reset the passwrd. Resetting the passwrd als unlcks the accunt. The custmer details page shwing an Active accunt. Nte: If these ptins are unavailable n a custmer s detail page, he r she has nt created a shpper accunt. Change Shpper Accunt User Name Mzu uses the shpper s email address as the shpper accunt user name, and yu can update this user name at any time. In Mzu Admin, select Custmers. Click n the custmer yu want t edit, enter a new username, and click Save. Nte: The User Name field is unavailable in custmer recrds withut shpper accunts. Updated Custmer Attribute Behavir Custmer attributes help yu gather and recrd details abut yur custmers. Fr example, yu might want t track whether r nt custmers are satisfied, r yu might want t save their frequently used infrmatin, such as what size f t-shirt they wear. Attributes can be either details yu enter and keep private in Mzu Admin, r they can be listed publicly n yur strefrnt s shppers can enter r select their infrmatin. Fr example, yu might want t keep custmer satisfactin internal, but yu might want shppers t select their t-shirt size frm a list n their My Accunt page. This service update includes UI changes t custmer attributes n Cre 6. We ve remved the This attribute is required ptin. This ptin will be cnsidered False n all existing attributes. Attributes cannt be required. We ve remved the Hide in Website checkbx; the existing Display Grup drp-dwn menu nw cntrls where the attribute is displayed. Any attributes that were cnfigured t display in Admin and Strefrnt and had Hide in Website set t True will nw be visible in the strefrnt. We ve added the Value Surce drp-dwn, where yu can select wh can enter values fr this attribute. T use these features when yu re creating an attribute: Chse a Display Grup Admin & Strefrnt: the attribute is visible t Admin and Strefrnt users (shppers) Admin Only: the attribute is nly visible t Admin users Chse a Value Surce Shpper Entered Admin r Shpper Entered Admin Entered Nte n Yes/N inputs displayed n the strefrnt: Yes/N attributes default t N in the strefrnt. This culd result in undesirable appearance fr attributes that have nt been input. Fr example, a Yes/N field asking if custmers are satisfied will display as N n the strefrnt, even if the admin r the custmer has nt selected N. This previusly resulted in a 404 errr. Nw the custmer can see the prduct page, but cannt add the item t their cart. Hidden prducts will remain hidden in search and categry pages, benefitting site SEO. Prduct Variants Inherit Fulfillment Type frm Base Prduct When yu create prduct ptins, each ptin s default fulfillment type is nw Same as prduct, reducing the need t manually edit the fulfillment type f all prduct variants. If a prduct variant s fulfillment type differs frm the base prduct s, yu may still edit the fulfillment type in Prduct Optins. T use this feature: Creating a Cnfigurable Prduct with Optins If all prduct variants have the same fulfillment type as the base prduct, make n changes. If sme variants have different fulfillment types, edit thse variants in prduct ptins. Editing the Fulfillment Type f the base prduct All variants with fulfillment type Same as prduct will reflect the change. Any variants with ther fulfillment types will nt change. In the fllwing example, the black variant will keep the In-Stre Pickup fulfillment type, even if the base prduct s fulfillment type changes. Categry Cde Categries nw have an ptinal Categry Cde field. The Categry Cde serves as an identifier fr theme and applicatin develpers. T use this feature: Yur existing categries will have a categry cde autmatically assigned. When yu create a new categry, yu can manually enter a cde, r ne will be assigned. Use the arrw buttns in the upper right t navigate t the next r previus prduct. Nte: If the next and previus arrws are nt displayed, refresh the page. Nte: The rder f prducts in the brwse matches the srt rder f the Prduct Grid. Best practice is t srt the grid by a parameter yu will nt be changing, like the prduct cde. In Mzu Admin, select Orders. 2. Click the Quick Filter icn and select the filter drp dwn r field yu want t search by: a. Pending Orders: The Pending Orders filter searches ffline rders by default. Order Header Updates The rder header cntains a summary f rder details, which nw includes the shpper s email address. The Order Header als displays a Pending Amunt, the ttal f any nn-captured payment transactins. This field nly displays if there are pending rder transactins that have nt been captured n the rder. T view these updates, click n any rder in the Order Grid. Custmized Invice and Packing Slip Optins Custmized invices and packing slips help reinfrce yur brand t custmers. Yu can custmize the frmat and layut f yur invice and packing slips by using the Mzu Cre theme templates in Site Builder r by manually updating yur theme. USING THE MOZU CORE THEME TEMPLATES IN SITE BUILDER 1. In Mzu Admin, select Site Builder. 2. Hver ver yur theme and select Edit. 3. Select Orders Templates>Order Details r Orders Templates>Packing Slip. 4. Add yur site name, address, and URL. Click Save. Yu can verride the templates fr invices and packing slips with any frmat and style yu want t add, such as yur cmpany lg, a fter with yur cmpany cntact infrmatin, and s n. Make these changes in the crrespnding Hypr template files in yur theme. Maximum Discunt Value Example A 10% discunt n a $300 prduct results in a $30 discunt. If Maximum Discunt Value is set t $25 fr the discunt, the custmer will receive nly a $25 discunt acrss the rder. Maximum Redemptins per Order Example A Buy a Camera, Get a Lens Free discunt with a Maximum Redemptins per Order set t 2 wuld cap the discunt t 2 lenses per rder, regardless f the number f cameras in the rder. T use these features: When creating a discunt: specify a Maximum Discunt Value in dllars t limit the value f a discunt. specify a Max Redemptins per Order t limit the times a line item discunt can be applied t an rder.
