Transform Healthcare, Transform Lives as a Nurse Educator! USF has given me the confidence and knowledge to take my nursing career to the next level. The faculty and staff are dedicated to helping students succeed. I hope to come back for my PhD in a couple years. Mark Roby, MBA/HRM, MS, BSN, RN Director of Nursing Schiller International University As an Education Specialist at St. Joseph s Hospital I am making a difference in three ways, through promoting nursing research, recognizing nurses with national certification, and encouraging nurses to be preceptors for the next generation of nurses. I couldn t have accomplished this without the inspiration by the excellent Nurse Education concentration at USF. In fact, I have returned to USF to complete my PhD in Nursing! Sarah Perron, RN, MS, CMSRN Education Specialist St. Joseph s Hospital Tampa, Fla. Nursing is my second career; however I continued to have a love for my first degree, health education. Once I decided to advance my nursing practice, it was only natural to merge principles of education with nursing and become a nurse educator. I chose USF for my Masters program because of the program s integrity, dedication to the community and flexibility of courses offered. The program prepared me to become the educator and leader I am today and provided fundamental principles for limitless future opportunities.
