Summary of partner situation List Pros and Cons linked to your situation PROS Good cooperation between the rail companies and the local government. Coherency of multimodal project activities related to the revitalization of the area (the NCL). Provided funding and advanced engineering work on railway projects and EC-1. The possibility of further expansion of railway infrastructure (tunnels). The strategic importance of the Łódź - Warsaw Railway Line. Location at the crossroads of II and VI Pan-European Corridor and Rail Batlica route. Location at the center of Poland at intersection of highways: A1 and A2 and expressways S8 and S14. Close to the capital city (120 km). CONS Freezing work on the Polish HS project. Lack of a strategic approach - the need to learn how to manage a portfolio of projects rather than individual project.
