2 The region of Świętokrzyskie is located in the south-east part of Poland, between the biggest cities: Warsaw and Cracow, near the border with Slovakia and Ukraine.
3 Population: inhabitants, inlcuding: 39% in urban areas 61% in countryside and small cities Area: ,2 square kilometers Density of population: 108,9 person per square km Main cities: Kielce ( ), Ostrowiec Św. (75 000), Starachowice (52 000), Skarżysko Kamienna (47 000). Economy and industry: agricultural, steel, metal processing, casting, construction industry, tourism and healthcare. System of education: 16 high schools (including 2 universities), which 12 of them are located in Kielce

15 PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT Providing infrastructure -skeletal regional distribution networks (NGN) in Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. As part of the project: The built-performance backbone network that meets the requirements of NGN networks. The prepared 135 points of contact with the network operators access (distribution nodes). Performance indicators for the products of the project: Length of Network built : 1410 km The number of installed nodes: 143
16 INFRASTRUCTURE OPERATOR Network owner: Infrastructure to be build will be owned by Świętokrzyskie Voivodship Managing the network main rules: Managing the network is provided by commercial contractor selected with accordance to the law regulations Operator provides services and affords infrastructure relaying on clear, transparent and equal rules for everyone, Technological neutrality (equal conditions for everyone) Infrastructure Operator will not provide any services to end users. Network will be open for all possible telecomunications companies providing broadband services to end users
