Job Description Web Systems Architect (KTP) Faculty of Technology Full time - Fixed term (24 months) Duties of the role Overall purpose of the role Main duties and responsibilities Measom (Dryline) is seeking a recent graduate in collaboration with De Montfort University through the Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) scheme. The aim is to develop a robust web application, backed by a customised database, designed to integrate all of the company s primary operational functions. Ongoing analysis of company processes and cloud-based integration of offsite operations is expected to provide a platform to drive efficiency and lead the company into a successful future. As part of the KTP package you will receive substantial training as well as access to a personal development budget of 4,000 and the opportunity exists to register for a funded higher degree where appropriate. The post will be based primarily at Measom (Dryline) Limited, 186 Knighton Lane, Leicester. LE2 8BF. The key stages to achieve the end product of the project are: Knowledge base and company induction and training. Establishing requirements for web application development projects; project management methodologies Produce detailed requirements specification for new web application Create new database schema and model Use chosen project management methodologies and tools to implement application features Testing and staff training Perform any other duties commensurate with the job grade as are reasonably required from time to time. Communicating with people across a broad cross section of both the host company and knowledge base university including finance, senior management and academic staff; all of which will require elements of patience and negotiation.
