The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program prepares nurses for advanced nursing roles of educator, administrator, and practitioner in a wide variety of fields. The Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) will prepare nurses at the highest level of nursing to be leaders in applying research to practice. And, designed to fast track RN s into higher-level career opportunities, an RN to MSN is available. The RN to MSN Direct program is designed to allow associate nurses to more quickly attain a Master of Science in Nursing degree. Registered nurses who presently hold an associate degree or diploma in nursing will be able to earn an MSN degree without earning a baccalaureate degree. DOCTOR OF NURSING PRACTICE (DNP) Put yourself at the forefront of healthcare reform. Graduates of the DNP program are prepared as leaders who influence and improve healthcare infrastructure and outcome by effectively administrating quality care at the highest level. The program is for nurses with master s degrees in nursing who hold national certification. The program is delivered primarily online with two weekend immersions on campus per semester. Throughout the program, nurses will gain the knowledge and skills needed to influence healthcare, to promote safety standards, and to advocate on a local, regional, and national level for policy changes that improve healthcare delivery systems.
