They defend both the same device (overload, short-circuit, thermal protection), as well as the connected loads (surge protection) from threats associated with their operation.

Availability of the ECO mode further improves the efficiency of the power supply system (through the ability to differentiate between periods with varying degrees of supply reliability). Scalability (extending) of the backup operation time thanks to the possibility of connecting larger number of external battery packs to the UPS unit (optional). There is dedicated software PowerSoft Professionall supplied with the device. Communication with the computer is done via RS232 and USB port placed on the back panel of enclosure. Additionally UPS work can be managed and monitored through an LAN network. Thanks to an additional, mounted optional, SNMP/HTTP managing card you can remotely monitor the operation of the device. This card has implemented SNMP agent service and HTTP server. Four sets of universal relay dry contacts make possible to inform about certain states of UPS. User can manually configure the appropriate contacts assigning them selected state or event e.g. main mode, overload.
