For XANTO S 6,000 and XANTO S 10,000, two UPS systems can be switched in parallel, even up to four UPS systems in the case of XANTO S 10,000 3/1 und XANTO S 20,000 3/1. Example: Redundancy mode in two XANTO S 6,000 systems As long as the supply voltage is activated, load sharing takes place in redundancy mode. Here, both XANTO S 6,000 systems are loaded with a maximum of 50% of their nominal power. In case of a failure of one XANTO S 6,000 system, the other XANTO takes over directly and without interruption. Innovative 2: Scalable power To increase power, two XANTO S systems can also be switched in parallel. This function is popular in case of a later system expansion. 7 Flexible: SNMP adapter and DataWatch software The optional SNMP adapter is the professional solution for multiserver shutdown and the remote administration of the UPS. Thanks to the high-performance 32-bit RISC processor, the SNMP adapter supports all functions like the automatic data backup with the close of running applications and the orderly shutdown of the entire system. In addition, an extensive messaging system, freely programmable routines, timed tests, and event logging are obligatory. The SNMP adapter has a free snap-in for HP Openview Windows and is compatible with Ipswitch WHATS UP 6, HP/Compaq Insightmanager, IBM Netview, Tivoli, Castle Rock, and many more.
