POSITION: Professional Learning Facilitator About Community Child Care Co-operative Ltd. (NSW) Ltd. (NSW) is registered and constituted as a cooperative under the NSW Co-operatives Act 1992. Community Child Care Co-operative is a not-for-profit provider of a wide range of services to the NSW education and care sector. Primary services currently provided by the organisation include training, vocational and in-service, resourcing, publications and advocacy work for the sector. LOCATION: Marrickville REPORTING TO: Manager POSITION CATEGORY: Full time, contract (Dependent upon ongoing funding) CLASSIFICATION: As per Community Child Care Cooperative Ltd (NSW) Enterprise Agreement Position Objective This role exists to meet the professional development, support and learning needs of education and care services in NSW. Professional Learning Facilitators provide excellent professional learning and support for the implementation of the National Quality Framework and the growth of high quality education and care. Essential Prerequisites A passion for facilitation, teaching and communicating with adults; A degree or diploma qualification in early childhood education or equivalent qualification; Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training; Experience in training and working within the professional development and learning environment; A current NSW Drivers License; The ability and readiness to travel; and Clearance under the NSW Working with Children s Check. 1/5

Responsibilities and Activities Providing Professional Learning and Consultancy Facilitate high quality, responsive professional development and support for ECEC services; Subscribe to adult learning principles in all facilitation and support opportunities; Remain current with ECEC research, policy, legislation and challenges; 2/5

Be a committed member of Professional Learning Team to deliver inspiring, high quality professional development and support; Implement communication strategies to ensure the NSW ECEC sector is well informed; Actively engage in networking opportunities; Inform services of CCCC activities and initiatives; and Promote a professional ECEC workforce. Managing professional development and support opportunities Build strong relationships within the ECEC sector through regular conversations and/or meetings to ensure quality and consistency; Maintain knowledge of effective education and care management; Work as an autonomous and/or collaborative member of the team as the position requires; Provide accurate information, timely resources, support and professional development for ECEC services; and Ensure all support, resources and professional development is highly regarded, high quality, compliant with funding and reflects best practice. Researching issues impacting delivery of quality education and care Maintain currency of knowledge through research of contemporary issues; Undertake regular scoping and needs analysis to guide research, professional learning, support, resources and materials; Work collaboratively with NSW ECEC sector to undertake research; and Research and develop strategies that will nurture and cultivate innovation and best practice. Contributing to the work of Inform, influence and inspire the ECEC sector to support the embedding of the CCCC vision; Advocate for all CCCCs programs; Work collaboratively with a dynamic and dedicated team; Collaborate with the ECEC sector and other philosophically aligned organisations; 3/5

Support the objectives of CCCC and the IPSP to support better quality ECEC for children and families; Respond to CCCC members and NSW ECEC services and determine how best CCCC can support them; Provide excellent customer centric service; Support the work of CCCC to ensure financial sustainability; Support the organisation to operate efficiently and effectively, and in a manner that reflects our philosophy and ethos; Maintain ongoing evaluation and quality assurance of internal systems and processes; and Contribute to reports and presentations as required, including reporting on individual work progress.
