HOUSE INFORMATION At Vermont South Community House we provide a variety of courses and activities - educational, recreational, environmental, and social - that will suit people of all ages and abilities, and from many walks of life and cultural backgrounds. Our classes and groups encourage community-based learning and provide support in a friendly and welcoming environment. By participating in them, you can build social connections and networks and further develop your sense of community spirit. About the House Our office hours are 9am - 4pm Monday Thursday and 9am - 3pm Friday. Staff comprise of Sharon Smart (Manager) and Office staff, Helen Crisp, Nicole Harman, Colette Doyle and Maria Patsavouras. CHILD CARE & PRE KINDER PROGRAM Child Care / Occasional Care Child Care is available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9.00am - 12.00pm to provide the opportunity for parents to take a break, attend classes and for children to learn socialisation skills. Pre-Kinder Program Pre-Kinder Program is available Tuesday and Thursday from 9.15am 2.15pm. It is a structured program (based on the Early Years Learning Framework) for 3-4 year olds, which promotes independence, and socialisation. We include music, indoor and outdoor play, craft, movement and portfolios.
