Dear Potential Business Partner, Thank you for considering a sponsorship of the 9th annual Run With the Pack 5K + 1 mile fun run/walk to be held at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2016, in Columbus s Scioto Audubon Metro Park. Run With The Pack is one of the few races in the Central Ohio area that encourages participants to run or walk with their dogs. The day s festivities kick off with a 5K run and a 1 mile fun run/walk, followed by an awards ceremony, vendor fair and kids and pet activities. Each year, hundreds of devoted animal lovers attend Run With the Pack, and the event serves as one of PWP s main sources of income. Proceeds from this event support the lifesaving programs and services of Pets Without Parents, a non-profit, no-kill, all breed animal shelter that is building a more compassionate community by providing, adoption, pet-retention, rehabilitation, education and training programs. We save the lives of over 500 homeless animals each year and care for approximately 50 cats and dogs on a daily basis. In fact, Pets Without Parents adopts out more animals than any other shelter in central Ohio, with the exception of Franklin County Animal Shelter and Capitol Area Humane Society. As PWP s sole source of funding, donations are essential for us to continue to provide these important services to the community. Your sponsorship directly supports the feeding, care and adoption of homeless pets, including pets that, without PWP, would be euthanized by other shelters. Please help us continue this great work by becoming a sponsor today. Included with this packet is a sponsorship form, which includes a brief description of the various sponsorship levels and benefits, as well as information about in-kind and media sponsorships. Sponsorship of Run With The Pack offers exposure that is more directly targeted, more effective, and less costly than traditional advertising. Of course, all donations are 100% taxdeductible. EXHIBITOR AGREEMENT An optional 10 x 10 exhibitor space 3 in our vendor fair is included with every Run With The Pack sponsorship. Sponsor exhibitors may arrive as early as 6:30 a.m. on June 18 and are asked to be set up, with vehicles removed from the exhibit area, by 7:30 a.m. Exhibits must be torn down by 11:45 p.m. Parking will be provided near the vendor area. Exhibits will be located outdoors. Run With The Pack is a rain or shine event. Tents are highly recommended for all vendor booths. Well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome. Please note that our permit FORBIDS SALE OF MERCHANDISE AT THE PARK. NOTE: Pets must be spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and on a non-retractable leash. In addition, I accept that no exhibitor will be permitted to erect signs or display products in such a manner as to obstruct the view, or affect the display, of other exhibitors. I accept that exhibits that are deemed unsuitable or objectionable may be adjusted or removed and understand that this restriction applies to noise, persons, conduct, printed matter, materials, or anything of a character that might be objectionable to attendees or be contrary to the mission and principles of Pets Without Parents. I agree that my name and any photographs of me or my work and/or booth may be used by Pets Without Parents or any media organizations covering the event for publicity purposes. I agree that I will not assign all or part of my space to any other person, firm or organization without the express permission of event management.
