Job description Job title: Business Analyst Grade: 5 ivision: Reporting to: Main contacts: Strategy and Professional Standards Head of Change Programme Internal: xternal: Major objectives To contribute to the achievement of AAT s business plan objectives and the efficiency and effectiveness of the organisation by: Translating strategic and business opportunities into viable business and technological solutions Supporting AAT s commitment to operational excellence Manage business solutions through business design and document workflow Articulating business requirements and translating them into functional processes and software requirements, communicating them to stakeholders, facilitators and partners Responsibilities Planning and monitoring To lead in: valuating data collected through task analysis, business process, surveys and workshops Understanding and mapping AATs core processes and workflows, documenting the results of analysis and obtaining sign-off from the appropriate client nsuring that all approaches are consistent with AAT/industry standards and utilise agreed templates Collecting and analysing the project s business requirements and transferring knowledge to drive the design through the development teams Review of test cases, process change requests, including designing and executing the test scripts and test scenarios Working with technical teams on shaping the solutions Supporting project s scope, acceptance, installation and deployment AAT is a registered charity. Provide suggestions to the development team during the xecution (evelopment) stage of the project to meet business needs Supporting the roll out in collaboration with PM/ PMO Lead Preparing accurate and detailed requirement specifications documents, user interface guides and functional specification documents Assisting with the business case Contribute to benefits management Communicating effectively with external clients and internal teams to deliver product s functional requirements like screen, interface, and GUI designs. Coordinating with the groups of business unit who test, validate, evaluate new applications and functions, and determine issues in services and software Managing any change requests related to the working project plans daily to meet the agreed deadlines.
