ACCREDITATION Accreditation The Institute for Advanced Medical Education is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Institute for Advanced Medical Education designates this live activity for a maximum of 19 AMA PRA Category 1 credits. Additionally, 1 credit can be earned for attendance at each of the Special Lunch Programs. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. This activity has been approved by the Society for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS) for 21 CME credits (19 credits for the course and 1 credit for attendance at each Special Lunch Program). These credits are accepted by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), by the ARRT as Category A credits, and they fully satisfy the CME requirement for Vascular Lab Accreditation. Each participant will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance showing Category 1 credits earned and a list of subjects covered in the course (RTs will receive SDMS credits). Many attendees will find this useful for submission to credentialing boards, managed care organizations and accreditation bodies. This product is not affiliated with or endorsed by ARDMS. Registration The tuition for Current Practice of Vascular Ultrasound includes lectures, hands-on instruction, the course syllabus on CD, and all morning and afternoon refreshments. The Special Lunch Programs are an additional $60 each (pre-registration is required).
