Doing Business in Brazil International Study Programs at Business School São Paulo The purpose of this document is to provide an overview of the Doing Business in Brazil Program. ABOUT BSP BSP Business School São Paulo is a Brazilian business teaching institution founded in 1995. Our Mission is to qualify individuals and organizations to act as ethical business leaders in Brazil and abroad. BSP prepares professionals to effectively exercise executive functions within the same parameters adopted by the most respected institutions worldwide, offering programs that integrate an international perspective to the Brazilian reality. The global market requires executives, even when working for domestic companies, to interact constantly with companies abroad due the inescapable need to engage in commercial and financial negotiations. BSP s faculty is formed by professors who combine a solid scholarly background (all hold Master or Ph.D. degrees) with broad practical and professional experience, as well as international experience to an ample knowledge of the Brazilian reality. How is the country when compared to its BRICs and LATAM peers? Why Brazilian economy performed relatively well during the subprime crisis? Which are the perspectives to the short, medium and long term in agriculture, industry and services? Is the country able to face successfully its most difficult challenge (infra-structure investments)? There are many risks and challenges to overcome, but after a long period of difficulties Brazil has upgraded its possibilities to reach higher standard of economic growth and social development. Negotiating in Latin America It is structured as an introductory course to the art of negotiations in Brazil and Latin America. Its objective is to assist the participants in improving their abilities as negotiators and focus on common cross-border barriers.
