Txai Resort Itacaré http://www.txairesorts.com/en/resort-projects/itacare-resort/sobre-o-resort/ The word Txai, inspired by the Indigenous kaxinawa language, means companion. It symbolizes the attitude of friendship the hotel adopts while receiving guests at the resort. Interacting with nature in a responsible and sustainable way, the owners and staff of Txai pride themselves on respecting and welcoming the culture of the region. Offering ample spaces with the sophistication of the Brazilian art, Txai s cozy rooms are especially designed to promote peaceful moments and wellbeing with windows open to nature. They are perfect settings to soothe the mind and stimulate the senses to the beauty of life. The endless sea, the mountains of the land, the silence of the night, the aromas of the bushes, fruits, flowers and roots set the tone of the rare beauty of this part of Brazil. The hotel is located on an ancient coconut and cacao farm, an estate of 92 hectares (227 acres) located in the Environmental Protection Area of Itacaré Serra Grande. Overall, Itacaré has 16 beaches, most of which are lined with rivers that flow into the sea, creating a beautiful landscape, such as Itacarezinho, where the Tijuípe river flows. Another special feature in Itacaré is its rocky mountains covered by the Atlantic rainforest, which hide rich fauna and flora, as well as river mouths and waterfalls of crystalline water.
