TRAVEL INFORMATION Arriving to Dortmund by car or coach Take the A40 from Essen to Dortmund; exit this highway (autobahn) at B54 towards Hagen. Please arrive early to get a parking space. Away supporter parking will be in section E3. Parking is chargeable 4.00 per car & 10.00 per coach. Train All Trains arrive at main station ( Hauptbahnhof ) in the city centre, the subway U45 will take supporters directly to the stadium ( Stadion ). Travel costs The tickets for the match include all fees for public transportation, like subway, regional trains etc. in the whole Ruhr-Area (for example from Düsseldorf to Dortmund by train). If you take a taxi it will cost approximately 10 from the town centre.
STADIUM INFORMATION Stadium Name Signal Iduna Park (also known as BvB Stadion) formally known as Westfalenstadion. Capacity 65,000 Bags are NOT permitted in the stadium, you can leave them at a dedicated place (Abgabestelle Gast) located opposite the entrance turnstiles. These can be pointed out to you by stewards. This is chargeable at 1.00 per item. Borussia Dortmund has no restrictions on drums, flags or banners. These will all be allowed into the stadium by the stewards. Any flag or banner displaying anything which can be construed as racist, defamatory, homophobic or political will be confiscated. Items as such as weapons, pyrotechnics, glass bottles etc. will not be permitted in the stadium. Tickets will be located in blocks 61, 08, 60 & 70, 75, 71. Please refer to your match ticket for your block, row and seat details. Seating is reserved within your allocated block. Gates open at 18:15 (local time), two and a half hours before kick off. Access to the stadium will be through electronic turnstiles in the Nord Tribune, via the barcode on your ticket. When you enter the stadium, you should turn left to access the blocks to be occupied by away supporters. Supporters will be searched once by stewards on arrival. Arsenal stewards will also be on hand to offer assistance and translation where possible. In the VIP section (block 52) food and drink concessions will be cashless, supporters wishing to purchase refreshments will need to buy a concession card from dedicated kiosks ( 10 minimum). Unspent credit can be refunded from the kiosk after the match. Supporters in blocks 61, 08, 60 & 70, 75 & 71 can use Euros to purchase refreshments. It is unlikely that supporters will be held back after the final whistle; however should this change announcements will be made before the end of the match.
