It is considered one of the best football stadiums in Sweden and it hosted the final of the UEFA Under 21 Championship in As the first Swedish club to own their stadium, Malmo FF aim towards even greater success in the future. Swedbank Stadion has three two tiered all seater stands and one standing terrace (converted to seats for international matches) to provide the best possible football setting. The capacity for international matches is seats. The away team receives an allocation of 1050 seats, including VIP seats according to UEFA standards.

2 Tickets and Stadium Access/Egress At this time Celtic have received 1050 tickets for fans wishing to attend this match. Celtic Ticket Services are responsible for the distribution of away tickets. Please only attend this match if you have received your tickets from the Club. There will be no tickets for visiting fans on sale at the stadium on matchday. Parking for visiting coaches is located nearby. It is likely that the authorities will allow coaches to drop their passengers close to the entry gate. Celtic fans are located in Sectors 17 & 18 and enter the stadium by Gate E. The entry system is by a single gate controlled by stewards with hand held ticket readers. Visiting fans can expect an initial ticket inspection prior to the entry gate. All spectators can be expected to be searched prior to entering the stadium. Please give sufficient time. On exiting, additional double gates will be open to facilitate egress. Spectator Safety Malmo FF, the local police and British Embassy are aware of the good reputation of travelling Celtic supporters. Banners and flags positively supporting the team will be welcome. The stadium regulations are similar to those at Celtic Park. Again we stress the dangers surrounding fireworks and pyrotechnics which are considered a serious safety issue. The discharge of such items not only creates a hazard to spectators but will expose Celtic FC to disciplinary action by UEFA. It is likely that Celtic fans will be asked to remain in the stadium for approximately 20 minutes after the final whistle. No alcohol is permitted in the stadium and smoking is prohibited. Please follow the advice of police and stewards.

3 The British Embassy The British Embassy in Copenhagen is aware of the forthcoming fixture and the number of Celtic supporters attending the match. We are grateful to the British Embassy for their advice which we publish in full below; Before you leave the UK British citizens don t need a visa to travel to Sweden or Denmark, but your passport should be valid for the duration of your stay in either country. Please ensure that the next of kin details are kept up to date in your passport, and remember to keep your passport safe at all times. Remember to get your free European Health Insurance Card EHIC before leaving the UK. The EHIC isn t a substitute for medical and travel insurance, but it will enable you to access public healthcare provided in Sweden or Denmark at a reduced cost, or sometimes for free. It will cover you for treatment until you return to the UK. Before you take off, take out comprehensive travel insurance Game day Getting to the stadium Walking: Swedbank Stadium is located in central Malmö. It takes approximately 45 minutes to walk from Malmö Central Station to the stadium. By public transport: From Malmö Central Station, take bus number 3 which stops at Swedbank stadion. For more routes, check the Skånetrafikens website By taxi: Taxis can be expensive. Always ask for the price before you get in the taxi. Please be aware that items banned in UK are likely to be banned at the Swedbank stadium as well. Section 17 & 18 is dedicated to Celtic fans entrance from gate E.

4 If something goes wrong; The emergency number for police, ambulance and fire services in both countries is 112 As in any other cities beware of pickpockets and bag snatchers in public areas - only carry what you need and leave spare cash and valuables in the hotel safety deposit box. Pickpockets & organised thieves are known to operate on the train between Copenhagen & Malmo. Take extra precaution with luggage and bags stored in the overhead compartment, where bags are regularly taken while the unsuspecting owner sits unaware. If your passport is lost or stolen, you should contact the Consular Section of the British Embassy in Copenhagen, Denmark or at the British Embassy in Stockholm, Sweden as soon as possible. You may need to apply for an emergency travel document (ETD). The fee for an ETD is 95 payable by local currency or Visa/MasterCard Credit Cards. You will need to submit one passport photo in colour and a paper copy of your flight details to apply. Please note that you need to book an appointment before you visit the embassy.
